I don't know where my initial review went, so here I go again. The staff, amazing! The amenities, superior! Just beautiful, can't wait to go back! Not to dismiss anyone, but a few stood out. Christina, office. So sweet every time we extended (yes it's that great). Danielle at the pub, quick with a refill or joke. And Brian. He led us to our spot, help with hook up, and came back later to make sure we were good. And continued to stop by to see if we needed anything. It's amazing when the staff goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. Brian and Barry exceeded what the "job" required and quickly became friends. Friends we are still in contact with and look forward to spending time with next time!!!

This resort is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice. There are plenty of recliners around the pool, but they were uncomfortable for me. I saw people with cushions or such that they laid down on the recliner. The hot tub is big. I wish it was a couple of degrees warmer. They have a few nice tent sites. People I talked to said the rooms at the hotels were nice. The rv site’s are decent size and somewhat private. The resort store has plenty of items. The breakfast food is decent. Fishing at the resort is limited to one place which 2 people max can use at once. I did catch a 20” or so Barracuda. Overall, this is a resort I would go back to. We stayed here 10/15-10/20/15. Amended on 10/31/25. They have big fire pits. Only problem that I had with them was the fire had to be pretty big to see the flames. Also, you couldn’t see the coals burning. I love to stare at the coals and flames. So relaxing.

Clean and well upkept campsites with convenient hookups for water and electric. Pool and shop was great and they always have activities going. For instance they did musical bingo during our stay. Really nice area and conveniently close to Key West (about 30 minutes). Definitely more fancy than outdoorsy but it was a very nice experience. Special shoutout to the staff at the check In and on escort duty that were incredibly friendly, helpful, and funny! Sorry I don't remember you names but I stayed here from September 29-30. Hope yall get rhe recognition from this post! Would recommend if you like camping and are out around Key West.

If I could give this resort 10 stars I would. Our family spent a week in one of the hotel rooms which were amazing, stocked with everything you could need. As a camping family we felt right at home. The resort is beautiful! Everything is so clean and well maintained with plenty of room to strech your legs. The bar and grill had some great food and a gorgeous atmosphere. The staff is incredible you can tell they love what they do and take pride in the resort. I will argue the southern most KOA is the best KOA. If we ever decide to stay down in the keys again this is where we will be!

An absolute Gem of a place. Perfect location for everything while still having a chill spot to rest and relax in. The rooms are fantastic, we really loved our balcony. The views are incredible everywhere you look. The pub and pool area was very clean and the food and drinks are delicious. We just stayed a quick weekend but felt like family with Randy (best bar tender in the GAME!) and all the other staff. We can't wait to make this our new tradition vacation spot

Very clean and well ran property. The suite we had was very nice and accommodating. Prices were not too bad. Nice pool and drinks area. Would recommend this place. And would stay again. Close to key west. All in all pretty great.

This is one one of the best campgrounds we've ever been. It truly had a resort feel. Staff were all so pleasant, accommodating and available. The landscaping was exceptional. With the tropical foliage surrounding camp site, you felt secluded. The only disappointment was the lack of grounds for dogs. There's no grass, anywhere inside campground. We had to go outside of the gate to walk our pup. There is a small k9 park in a very convenient location but it's artificial turf and small.

We stayed here for the first time since they rebuilt after the hurricane and we were extremely impressed by the thought put into this location. We had a KOA patio pull-through spot. It was very well landscaped and made it feel quite private despite the proximity to other sites likely about the same as other parks. The makes all the difference though. The pool and cafe area are very private and sectioned off. Food was surprisingly great. Limited offerings, but nice to be able to have options and good food which is super convenient being right there. Rest rooms are very clean though quite poorly designed. Wry tight and awkward layout was a huge miss in the design. But serviceable and most important no insects and solid well-sealed entry door to prevent that. Gift shop is being upscaled as the selection was surprisingly limited for such a destination location. Fantastic staff. Love having a host pilot come bring you to your site. Trash pickup throughout the day. Also awesome that they have hotel rooms now too if family or friends wanted to come stay as well but don’t have a camper.

Stayed at one of the suites here with the family. I was really with the cleanliness of the apartment, because it’s an apartment with a kitchen, living room, and large balcony with a table for four, plus an additional two chairs and a little table to sit and watch the ocean and the resort overall. I would definitely stay here again. I really like that it has a bar by the pool and food you can order too! The beach has inflatable play items for teens and adventurous adults, plus lounge chairs and coconut trees. Very nice resort. It was our first KOA and it won’t be the last.

Wow! Can’t say we’ve ever been to a campground this nice! Every single site is private with lush beautiful Florida plants! The people are super friendly and well staffed at this campground! There is a terrific bar and restaurant at this resort, who has that?? There are no mobile homes or tiny homes in this park which we liked. No gates or codes to get in the park or facilities but very very safe! The cable is solid with tons of channels! The pool area is prestige and lovely like a five star resort! About 30 minutes drive to Key West. If you’re a biker, you will absolutely love the Heritage Trail, which is safe and paved. We will definitely return to this resort over and over!

A true RV resort destination. Be patient with the ladies at check-in. The sites are gravel, but absolutely flat & easy to park. The common area has a well shaded bar, pool, corn hole set, and some tables if you just want to sit. The bathrooms are excellent - some of the best I've ever come across in an RV campground.

Love it here. A week of hanging out at the pool and fishing from the bridge is just what the doctor ordered. Beautiful grounds and friendly people. If I were to make a suggestion, a small playground for kids would be nice (the dogs have one) along with a basketball goal. It seems like the tent campers don't love camping here, so those spots would be perfect for it.

I would rate this campground higher, if I could. This is the best campground we’ve stayed at to date. Yea it’s brand new, but it was well designed. Love the bar/pool area, live music, bathhouse, water amenities, everything! Camping in a small camper, the bathhouse design and cleanliness is important to us! Excellent on both accounts. Nice long shower stalls, bench in every stall, and plenty of hooks. Laura and Robin were very friendly at check-in. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer. I believe you could stay week without leaving the campground and never get bored.

Awesome KOA! Nicest campground that we have ever stayed at has a restaurant, pool, multiple laundry rooms. Great place to stay if you are going to the Florida keys. I would have gave it 5 stars but it is pricey for a campground but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is probably one of my favorites campgrounds ever. Conveniently located in beautiful Sugar Loaf Key and only 20 to 25 minutes from Key West. The park is very clean and the amenities are top notch. They do an amazing job in keeping it clean. Lots spaces have a decent amount of space among each other which could be rare in this area. Front desk staff was very pleasant and was happy to find an extra night for us! There is a small cafeteria and small market with basic necessities and nice gifts. Check in process was smooth. Prices can be a little high but that's the whole area. Will definitively come here again.
