We had a family reunion at the Summertide Resort earlier this month and all 33 of us had a great time! The place was perfect for us (we rented 9 units), we used the kayaks and paddleboards a lot, we cooked and ate our meals there, and the staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

We stopped at the marina while boating on Hood Canal to pop into the gift shop/general store. The space was brimming with unique, quality, and useful items--everything from card games and branded mugs to kids fishing poles and tasty treats. The owner, who assisted us, was just lovely and we will absolutely be back on our next canal vacation. (The kids also very much enjoyed watching the tiny schools of fish taking refuge at the docks.)

We had plans Change for labor day weekend and we found this last minute. (They had a cancellation so we were lucky). This place does not disappoint. It is a perfect meld of Lake life feel with all that the puget sound has to offer. The waters are warmer here than most the sound, so swimming, paddle boarding, and many other water sports are all being enjoyed. If you have a boat bring it they have affordable mooring. The Admiral cottage was perfect and better than the pictures. The staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly care about guests having a great experience. We will be back, and have already been suggesting it to friends. We are thankful to have found this gem. It was great to have it as the perfect ending to our summer.

Found this sweet spot throughout Airbnb, when planning a girls weekend. We are so grateful for our time here. The accommodations at not fancy. We appreciated the retro charm. But, must of all, we appreciated meeting the lovely staff. They were very friendly. We also appreciated the peaceful vibes of the resort and natural surroundings. We hope to return someday in the near future.
