Great time here. The hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. We arrived after dark and Mark actually walked in front of us to lead us to our campsite. Great gift shop in a real Mongolian yurt! Lots of fun.

We stayed at Summit for a few nights in September with our fifth wheel and had an excellent experience. The campground is right off the Crowsnest Highway just east of Osoyoos and it's far enough away for peace and quiet, but close enough for a quick trip. The campground is quite open, big-rig friendly, and very easy to navigate. Washrooms were spotless, and the free access to laundry machines was a great bonus and is a very handy amenity. All services at the site worked fine and there is WiFi available. We enjoyed watching and listening to what seemed like thousands of birds, and even had several resident deer wandering through daily. The scenery in the area is great, with fantastic vantage point if you walk up the hill behind the campground. The night sky was also incredible, with minimal light pollution due to the relative remoteness and elevation of the campground. As for Markus and Lori, they are fantastic hosts! Friendly, helpful, and clearly take pride in maintaining the campground. They also provided us with additional printed sheets with local maps of stuff to see and do in the area, which was helpful. We'll definitely stay here again and will recommend Summit to other RV travelers.

We stopped at Summit RV for 3 nights on the return leg of a cross Canada summer road trip, and we are so glad we did. RV Summit stands out among the numerous campgrounds we have stayed at as one of the best. As mentioned in other reviews, Markus and Lori are wonderful host and incredibly welcoming and genuine. This campground has been a labour of love for them and it shows. The location is out of this world - if you love dark skies full of stars and quiet nights, this is the place. The facilities are excellent and very clean - I have yet to see individual, fully appointed bathrooms at any other campground. The service is stellar - I have not yet encountered any other owner/operator who comes out to meet visitors on arrival and makes sure that all is well and that their needs are met throughout their stay. Additionally, the location is close to many points of interest, including Osoyoos, which was the goal of our visit. The good thing is, while it was near 40 degrees in the valley, temperatures at the top were closer to 25 degrees and much more pleasant at the end of the day. And while the valley found itself blanketed in forest fire smoke on our last day, there was not a hint of it at the resort which was lovely. Lastly, the drive up the mountain is beautiful and well worth the effort. I highly recommend this location for any camping adventure, no matter how short or how long the stay.

Stayed just one night but a different experience. Marcus (operator/owner) welcomed us and was absolutely wonderful and funny. Nice facilities, including laundry and showers. This is a family business that was built from scratch and I have a lot of respect of people who are trying to run their business differently, with kindness and respect. Will be back for sure when we are in the Okanagan region.

A bit of a different experience from most, but my friend and I encountered Summit RV Resort and its owner Markus after a brutal climb by bike up Anarchist mountain in 35 degrees of blistering heat. As we reached Summit, Markus--a stranger to us--immediately came to our aid; offering us cold water, a place to fill up our bottles, some shade and rest, and great conversation. A brief and random encounter, but Markus strikes me as a person of both character and integrity. The location is beautiful and serene and I have no doubt you are in good hands lodging at his Resort. Thanks again, Markus!

Nice spot with a great view and great hiking! Enjoying the hot showers and washing machines and dryers that both work very well. Friendly owners are quick to help residents resolve any problems, and the occasional bonfire makes it fun to be outside on cold evenings in November. And not far from anywhere you need to go to replenish your supplies.
