Great quiet campground especially for tent campers.

I enjoyed this park. I didn't see a bad spot anywhere. If I had any complaints it would be, you must register online and there is no cell service there. I recommend you register your site before you get there.

Nice campground, bathrooms are okay. Nice to have a shower, even though you can't regulate the temperature. Some people are very inconsiderate. Had to endure 2 days of straight barking from 2 dogs. At one time they came roaming through my camp! Camp host did nothing. Also someone playing a 5 gallon bucket as a drum for several hours! I will return, just not on a holiday weekend and during the week!

All the previous info offered by users still checks out as of June ‘22. Don’t worry about checking in with anyone if you have a reservation. Decent bathrooms with a shower which saved the day for me! Sites 2-6 are pretty spacious and back up to a creek. Lovely sounds at night. Not much kindling left though, so bring your own and your own wood. And THANK YOU to the sweet preacher and his lovely family who helped me jump my car. Will be back.

We love this camping location, but be sure to bring your own toilet paper. The camp hosts have the the toilets run out of toilet paper on two separate occasions that we've camped there.

I really wanted to love this campground. I read lots of reviews about how quiet it was. Unfortunately I guess I was there on an unusually loud weekend. So many kids (there seem to have been several large family groups)…which is great! But also very loud and not really conducive to a quiet and peaceful camping weekend. The area was great with lots of hiking to beautiful waterfalls. The campground hosts were super helpful because someone was camped in my site. They worked it out for us. If I went back I would camp on site 13. It’s not a tent only site but is tucked back a bit and has lots of space between it and neighboring sites. It is also next to the creek. I stayed in walk in site 27 which I don’t recommend. The other walk in sites had more flat area.

We had a great time camping here. There wasn’t any real check in/out procedure when we went, so we just set up at our rsvp site. The bathrooms aren’t too bad and they provide toilet paper but not soap. There are watering areas too. I would definitely bring extra padding if you’re staying in a tent and FIREWOOD! Although they didn’t have anyone policing the grounds, they don’t want you collecting sticks to use. We used charcoal and firewood and were able to cook our food pretty easily. The campsite was peaceful and quiet most of the day/night. There’s horseback riding near by, a few scenic overlooks, hiking trails, and a couple of waterfalls. We absolutely no phone service and had to drive a mile or two (+) to get in touch with anyone. The local stores were about 45-hr away from the site. We found the best wood at Lowe’s. Citgo not far from the site had wood but theirs wasn’t dry enough. The campsite is pet friendly and I didn’t see breed restrictions. We would definitely camp here again. Not too far from Atlanta metro area. Great views and bring bug repellent. Lots of signs to watch for bears, but we didn’t see any. So definitely have something to store your food in safely! Don’t forget to book your RSVP before you get there because you may have a hard time getting service!

Campsite was wonderful, facilities were good. Fire pit was perfect for cooking at. Numerous nearby trails for easy hiking. Price was really good!

Nice clean campground. Stayed at site 29 on the top of the hill for a night. About a 100’ walk from the parking spot to 29. Bathroom and shower are located down the hill in the lower section (2 min walk through the woods). The lower section sites allow you to park right at the sites and avoid the short walk in like the upper section. Each site has a tent pad, concrete picnic table and fire ring. Lots of shade but it was still hot as expected in July. Good deal for $15 a night.
