Okay, so I've never even heard of this place before the summer of 2025, and if you don't know about this place, it's definitely worth the trip. I stayed in one of their cozy camping cabins with my sister, her partner and my nephew during the week of August 10th, and although we were only there until Wednesday of that week, it was a nice relaxing three days (if you count the day we arrived at the campground). I also love the trolley service that takes you to the pier and back for two dollars, which saves a lot of walking if you're not familiar with the area. Would I camp here again? The answer is YES, especially if I get to go old school with a pop-up camper. Or camp out in a tent. Either way, I hope I get to come back again and explore more of the campground.

Pros: Great customer service at the check-in desk, they were even able to accommodate an early check-in for us, thanks y'all! An amazing location we were able to walk to the beach, pier and amusement park all day no problem. Also solid amenities at an affordable price—especially considering the location. We paid $55 for a tent campsite with no water or electric, just a picnic table, parking space, and small fire ring. The site itself was level and smooth, perfect for our tent and needs. We usually backcountry camp, so this felt like luxury compared to what we’re used to. The train runs close enough that you’ll hear it throughout the night—this could be a con for some(I'll take distant train over screaming children anyday!) but we actually enjoyed it. There’s something oddly nostalgic and comforting about the distant rumble of a train passing in the dark. Cons: Noise is a big factor—you hear everything. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or headphones. We could hear barking dogs, screaming kids, and the couple across the road arguing until midnight. I was too exhausted to get up a third time to ask them to quiet down. The “rent-a-cops” were also unpleasant. We were being dropped off (our vehicle was already parked at our site) and the security staff still hassled us about a parking pass, even though we weren’t parking a car. Lastly, signage and directions within the campground could be improved. Things are poorly labeled, which can make finding your site a little frustrating on initial arrival. Overall: Despite the noise and a couple of run-ins with grumpy staff, the location, price, and amenities make this a spot I’d stay at again.

After driving 11 hours, we arrived 9:10 and the office was closed, but a man working nearby offered to show us our campsite. There was a kids movie going on and the streets were crowded. We were lucky he was there as everything is so packed in, we would have had a difficult time finding it by ourselves. We got set up and I went to take a shower. 2 minutes in, there was no hot water. Not warm water, there was no warmth to the water - no difference between all hot and all cold on the spigot. I finished showering as quickly as I could, very disappointed. We got up in the morning and left at 11. This campsite was almost $100. And no hot water for $100 is too much.

We stayed at this campground for 4 days and had a great experience! The place was super clean—we saw the crew passing through day and night to keep everything tidy. There was a really good energy throughout the campground, and it felt safe and welcoming. It’s located about 800m from the beach, which made it super convenient, and there was lots to do nearby. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which added to the positive vibe. The only small downside is that the campsites themselves were a bit small, but honestly, it didn’t bother us too much because everything else was so well maintained. Would definitely go back!

Pool is great, that’s about it. Arcade had several out of order signs, and also had a toxic rubber smell so we avoided . Showers/ bathrooms very clean , excellent pressure and endless hot water. Would not call this place a resort . Did have basketball hoops and a splash pad for the little ones. Trolley ride offered all day but there is a fee. There was NO internet at our site and this was a major problem since we both work 24:7 jobs to check in . So if you NEED the net skip here. Lastly every single employee we encountered was dry , like a robot that had zero expression or friendliness. It was like another planet . Asked a question about the trolley it was like we were bothering them . Will never return here and do not recommend
