Campsite and resort amenities were great. Only issue was with management of the office when it came to reserving a golf cart. I reserve the golf course months in advanced, but when I showed up on checking day, I was told one wasnât available because some of them werenât running or some other excuse. I asked what was the point of the reservation . They didnât have an answer. Personally, I think they just overbooked and instead of holding carts for those who had reservations first it was first come first serve. I get this, but it would have been nice to have received a phone call prior to check-in. The manager didnât seem overly concerned about making this right and said they would refund my money. And then everything would be fine. Their manager did allow me to call an outside vendor to reserve another cart, which took more time than it should have. They shouldâve done this for me if they had great customer service, but I wasnât able to secure a golf cart until the next day. That was only possible because the golf cart vendor was nice enough as they require 24 hours notice. They did offer me a free bag of ice or a bag of firewood, but I donât think that concession was worth the inconvenience and frustration. Perhaps a small voucher for another future stay wouldâve made it right but they didnât seem to care.

Before our first trip as a family of three, I was pretty nervous due to so many negative reviews specifically on Google. But boy did we love this place, weâre already discussing booking a longer trip in a larger cabin for next summer (we got the smallest cabin, one room no bathroom). It was clean & cozy, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, as were the showers. You canât beat the beach at the lake with free chairs and a pool perfect for any age child to stand in being that the low end was only 1.5 ft deep. Staff was extremely friendly as well. My only complaint was the mosquitos but thatâs out of everyoneâs control. Only advice I can give about this place is to pack literally every kind of bug repellent you possibly can! Either way, 10/10.

False advertisement of beach and amenities. No activities for children and no one working the area for paddle boats, canoes, beach umbrellas. Bathrooms were moldy and dirty. Store closed early every day (by 4pm). I raised my concerns with management and they did nothing but give me excuses for why things happened. Iâm sorry but if you are paying $140 per night for a place with âretreatâ in the title then that is what you should get in return. We will never return or trust another Sun community. So very disappointed

Adding to this as the response was maybe wrong resort. No, I am aware of what resort I was at. Just another way of you of ignoring the horrible conditions. Not the best response. Wow! This place is a disgusting and disgraceful. Sewer all over the ground. Garbage everywhere. Loud partyâs. No security. Iâm surprised the health department hasnât shut this place down. Save your money and go elsewhere. Disgusting bathhouses. Went to discuss these issues with the interim manager who was a young girl, and she was crying and complaining about being overworked and stressed out. Obviously not able to handle the job. Sun you should be ashamed of yourself!

We stayed in a tent here for 2 nights. A TREE BRANCH FELL THROUGH OUR TENT ON THE SECOND NIGHT AND WAS 6 INCHES AWAY FROM KILLING OR SERIOUSLY INJURING MY SON! Thankfully no one was hurt. The limb was obviously dead and covered in moss. The guards at the gate are total unhelpful and unknowledgeable about anything. Also on the second night there was some kind of domestic dispute that woke us up. The teenagers are all over the streets after dark posing a hazard when driving. The teenagers also come in the bathroom when you're showering and scream random stuff. Mosquitos are also bad here. Also, the sites are pretty small and our sight was covered in grass clippings as they did not bag it. For the amount of money that they charge it should be a lot better. At the very least they should trim their dead limbs!

the staff at the front desk are sooooo nice! My family and I have been coming here for years and now we got a seasonal spot for next summer because we love it so much. Such a great option to enjoy cape may at a lower price. The cottages are nice and clean and the RV spots are a good size as well. If you love camping, I recommend coming here!

We stayed here a couple of years ago when we 1st purchased our RV. This is our 2nd stay. Here are the pros and cons; Pros: close to Cape May Close to multiple wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Well maintained site. Quiet Cons: Wifi is terrible. Couldn't sign our TVs in. Overall a nice park. Problem is it's in NJ, unable to offer some of the better entities.

This place was the perfect escape! Seriously, the location was unbeatable, so close to everything but still felt peaceful. The room was spacious and spotless â exactly what we needed after long days exploring. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, just soaking up the sun. And the pool? Absolute bliss! We grilled out a couple of nights, too, which was super convenient. Can't wait to book our next trip â already planning our return! Hands down, this is the only place we'll stay from now on.

We just stayed at this campground for a week. We were welcomed with sincere enthusiasm and professionalism. The staff throughout the week were attentive and excellent. The Pros: The location is great. You are about 15 minutes from Wildwood or Cape May. The pull through site we were on was roomy and neatly kept. We rode through the campground throughout the week, and this was common for all the sites. The bathrooms were clean, and so was the laundromat. The property is gated, which is also a plus. Having the option of a lake with a small beach or a pool is great. They had food trucks on Saturday and Sunday. The cons. We wish they had more food truck options during the week. There was no DJ or Live Entertainment. Our son has an electric bike that looks like a dirt bike, and apparently, security received a complaint about him. The complaint was that he rode in front of a white truck (which was parked) and the operator started he didn't see him and almost hit him, again, all while being parked. Nevertheless, we got a visit from the security staff. Not realizing this type of electric bike (without pedals)was not allowed, he was advised that he could not ride the bike for the rest of our stay. We didn't take an issue with that. However, the issue we did have was the overzealous attitude of the security guard being aggressive toward my wife and son. He actually yelled out, " I caught him," congratulating himself for a job well done, stating that if he's seen riding the bike again, we will be kicked out. His demeanor ultimately put my son into tears. Hearing this from inside the camper, and once I realized what was happening, I stepped out of the camper to engage with him and assured him he would not ride the bike again. As this was happening, there were children riding electric scooters and other electric bikes that had pedals around us that were also in violation of this rule. When I pointed that out, he stated, "I can't catch them all." The next day, I stopped at the front desk to get clarification and was told that no child under the age of 16 is allowed to ride any motorized vehicle, bike scooter, etc, in the campground, period. As this conversation was happening, a group of kids on scooters rode past the office, to which I pointed out and was provided the same reply, "I can't catch them all." During the week, we observed several kids under the age of 16 riding electric powered vesicles through the campground with no repercussions. We don't know what to make of the totality of the situation, but we still made the best of it. Lesson learned, leave your electric powered kids' toys home. Hopefully, their guidelines will evolve to stay current with modern technology. In closing, the only other observation we made was that some of the seasonal campers were very nice, others would not even acknowledge you, and really did not make you feel welcomed at all. We overheard a conversation of seasonal campers complaining about the transients. We might return here, or we may try the family owned nearby campground. Overall, we realize not to let one bad experience ruin the entire week, and it's not on our no return list.

I enjoyed the campground when I went. I did not like the response from the owner it seems like a form letter I read a lot of the negative reviews as the owner of a company I would respond by pinpoint what the problems are your response to your customers is a form letter. I agree the Lake needs to be upgraded. There needs to be more activities There is a lot of potential At your campground Hopefully you find it

OMG the dog park! đ. The camp sites were very nicely spaced, level and well maintained. The facilities were average but still nice. What really sets this campground apart from everywhere else was the dog park! HUGE and very nicely maintained, our dogs absolutely loved it! We very seriously considered extending our stay because they were enjoying it so much more than most of the other campgrounds that just have small mostly dirt areas that arenât big enough to run or play.
