There’s something truly special about Sun & Sand. The caretakers & community made us feel so at home that our stay went from 1 night, to 4, then 14, and we were still sad to be waving goodbye.

Great little spot on the south end of Skaha Lake. Caretakers are wonderful people, the site is clean and plenty of things to keep the whole family busy.

We pulled in just as another trailer was leaving and we’re able to stay the night, park was full of permanent campers . They guided us in and showed us around the park. Super helpful and pleasant. We parked on the lake and the view was amazing! Would highly recommend!

My son describes this place is the best camping site we have ever been. He is 15 now and we started camping from when he was 2. The bathroom is unbelievable clean. Hot shower all day long. The whole site is maintained so well. Pat and her husband Bob gave us any possible assistance they could offer. We were giving a site tour, had our RV levelled, parking support and so on so forth. The site is secured during the night and monitored all the time. So safe and sound. All of campers seemed to know each other and very homey feeling. This site is right by the water so you can kayak and SUP right by the door step. We didn’t catch lots of fish this year but my friend caught a lot each year before! Closer to Penticton, grocery store and the famous ice cream shop. What else can you ask for?

Summer 2013 I was camping on my own with 4 - 15 year old boys. The location was perfect for keeping them busy with a huge park next door and bridge to jump off and it allowed me a space to relax. The caretaker were welcoming, and their act of kindness absolutely made my holiday feel special. After a morning spent trying to figure out how to set up the dining tent I gave up, when I returned later that day it was perfectly set up.
