Lacking customer service. There are signs all over the resort saying there are fees if don't do this or that. Very negative. Staff didn't and who was responsible for what job. We asked about renting a golf cart, nobody knew about it. The houses were very poorly stocked. No cleaning products at all. Our friends brought their pontoon boat, the marina was nice. Rock Fest was well run,but most bands weren't "rock". Disappointing. We won't be back. This was our second time there. I really tried to like it there. Bad vibes. Oh and the roads are horrible, in need of repair. The resort needs some money and love dumped into it.

A beautiful lake, and location wise it is amazing as it is right next to Electric City and has cell service. Unfortunately, the campground is incredibly crowded and spots are basically just wherever they can squeeze you in. Only one main useable bathroom, otherwise there are horrifying toilet pits with no lights, smell of ammonia, and all sorts of bugs throughout the park. I always choose to walk to the bathroom. The bar/store is incredibly cool and convenient though!

Sunbanks resort is okay. But super expensive for tiny tent spots. And not easy to navigate the property. They have a map of all the spots and misc. but all the tent spots have no signs saying which spot is what. The map was not helpful when you have no idea what spot is what. None of the tent spots are flat. Quiet hours Friday and Saturday are 12:00am-8:00am but music was playing till 1am. The front desk was not helpful and very short with their responses. Camping isn’t always pretty but this place was definitely really dirty.

The one specific spot we stayed in was the only redeeming thing about this trip. We grew up camping at banks 10-15 years ago and it was nice, clean, and just enjoyable. Now it’s over priced and run down. The outhouses around the property were completely disgusting and could be smelled from 20 feet away. The playground looked unsafe with missing screws and like it could fall apart any minute. Two of the spots our group had were so small you couldn’t fit a pop up over the picnic table so they really shouldn’t be spots in the first place. On one side of the group, there was a large motorhome in a spot that used our fireplace, left their dogs barking the entire time we were there, and then when the dog got off the leash and charged at our dogs, they screamed at us. They also left dog poop in front of their RV where people walked so it was tracked everywhere. On the other side of the group, there was a group of at least 20 people (12 tents) squeezed into three spots. The music went on for hours into the night with nothing being done about it. We called the line posted on the door to try to speak to someone and it wasn’t picked up and the calls were not returned. Overall we were incredibly disappointed by the quality of the campground and the whole thing just felt ran-down. I would not recommend staying here to anyone anymore. You’re better off staying at a state campground. It gets three stars because our site made it slightly possible to escape the noise and we had fairly private water access. If we were on the other side of the road when the rest of our group, I would have been hesitant to even give them one star unfortunately.

There was not a lot positive to say about our experience renting unit 505. The beds were Horrible. They creaked so loud it woke us and our infant up every-time you’d turn over. If you intend to stay with an infant the karaoke blasts into this unit until midnight, the upstairs doesn’t stay cool and you can’t open windows because of loud volume. The dishwasher didn’t work. Unit came with dishes that still had lipstick on them. Shower, good luck. The pressure was non existent and I couldn’t hardly get soap out of my hair. Half the lights didn’t work/ were different hues The furniture was mediocre. Trim was falling off, fridge door handled held together by screws. The shower had spiders and the bathroom floor creaked extremely loud likely from water damage bathtub trim hardly in tact. Went to turn on the grill and the top came off of the propane tank. Also to add, playground is very questionable. Shouldn’t even be up it’s a hazard. 100% do not recommend, This place is literally falling apart. Extremely disappointed.
