Sundance RV Resort
Overview
Sundance RV Resort offers a welcoming escape in the heart of the Colorado River Valley. This well-established park provides a comfortable home base for travelers looking to trade the cold for the warm desert sun of Earp, California. The park's layout is designed to foster a sense of belonging among its seasonal visitors. With its combination of riverfront access and community-focused living, it has become a staple for those seeking a balance of relaxation and outdoor activity.
Location & Surroundings
Situated along the banks of the Colorado River, the resort sits directly across from Parker, Arizona. The surrounding landscape features rugged desert bluffs and wide-open skies, creating a striking backdrop for sunset views. Its location in Earp allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of the California side of the river while remaining just minutes away from the shopping and dining options found across the bridge. This dual-state access offers the best of both desert isolation and modern convenience.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is equipped with high-quality facilities designed for long-term comfort and recreation. Key features include a private boat launch and dock, making it easy for water enthusiasts to get out on the river with minimal hassle. Guests can also enjoy a sparkling swimming pool and spa, a large clubhouse for social gatherings, and clean laundry facilities. Most sites offer full hookups with plenty of space for larger recreational vehicles, ensuring a seamless stay for big-rig owners.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure is never far away with the Parker Dam located just a short drive north. Golfers will appreciate the proximity to the Emerald Canyon Golf Course, known for its unique canyon-carved fairways. The region is also a hub for off-road exploration, with numerous trails winding through the Mojave Desert. For indoor entertainment, the nearby casinos provide gaming and live shows just across the state line, while the river itself remains the primary destination for fishing and kayaking.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is an excellent match for winter snowbirds and retirees who value a social, community-oriented atmosphere during the cooler months. Because of its dedicated water access, it is also a top choice for boaters and jet skiers looking to spend their days on the water. It is best suited for those seeking a long-term seasonal stay or a deep dive into the river lifestyle rather than a quick transit stop along the highway. The park’s focus on adult-oriented recreation makes it a peaceful retreat for those looking to enjoy the sunshine.

Great little park, plenty of room for your RV . Each spot gives you space between other renters. Has grass which is nice for AZ.

We stayed for 1 week in our RV and had a great time on the river! Lots of river front sites, not all with a beach but lots of beach space available for everyone. Would definitely stay again when we get a chance. 🇨🇦

People at the office are amazing helpful and nice. Bathrooms and laundry room are clean. The whole resort is beautiful. There is a nice beach in front of the river that is groomed weekly. We will reserve a spot here again . My only complaint is the $50 a month charge for my 12 pound dog.
