Great RV park for exploring old town Saint Charles. Park is very clean and grounds well manicured. We enjoyed our stop over and will stay longer next time. Bruce & Su

This RV resort was very clean with a concrete pad. Also a nice location to historic downtown Saint Charles. My only comment would be the park map showed a mailbox but we were unable to locate it.

We stopped here for two nights on our way to Niagara Falls. The lady ar the desk was very friendly and welcoming. The sites were super clean and level and easy to maneuver into with a 40 foot rig. There aren't a lot of amenities at the park, but there's a very nice rail to trail behind it with access to playgrounds and hiking/biking. The campground is also very close to the main streets in Old St Charles, which is amazing for shopping and dining.

Although this RV park is in the middle of an industrial area, it was exactly what we needed for a few days to explore the greater St Louis area. The check-in was easy, the staff was very professional. There is no shade, but the sites are concrete, full hookups, and very clean. The Katy Trail, Missouri River, and multiple parks are just outside the back gate. We rode our bikes for miles along the trail and it deserves its spot in the Rail Trail Hall of Fame. Along the trail to the right is the historic St Charles. Coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants are easy to access from the trail. Downtown St Louis is only 20 or 30 minutes away depending on traffic. There is a railway near the campground, but we were not bothered by train noise. Will stay here again.

We have been staying here for over a decade. Super basic park. No pool, almost no shade, but nice flat sites and quick access to the historic area. This time was different though. When we arrived after hours, our registration wasn’t put out like it usually is. So we just took one of the two available spots. When we walked our dogs at bedtime we saw MANY cockroaches around one of the dumpsters, which is the stuff of nightmares. In the morning I went to check in. The staff person was late and blamed the owner for not putting out the reservation. She was busy blaming everyone for everything and clearly wasn’t having a good day. I would return but the customer service needs a brushing up. And get an exterminator.

Very simple, the manager, Darlene lacks customer service skills. It's her way or the highway. In my situation I should have taken the highway. The owner, Carol is just as bad, she referred to me as bitchy even though I had never spoken to her. They are adamant about not giving your money back when the sites are not what you paid for. I'm trying to keep this simple but trust me DO NOT STAY HERE!

We are a traveling nurse couple from out of state. We had issues with a creepy male couple who followed my wife to the bathrooms on more than one occasion. We took showers together whether in men’s or women’s didn’t see issue as it’s for our safety and boy were we correct. We were in separate showers and the owner and manager yelled and screamed banged on my wife’s shower stall and took her clothes telling her to get out. We than were told no man is allowed in women’s restroom whether they identify as woman or not. We were than told to leave which was quite allright but we were ripped off over 300$ for supposed water and electric for just one month. If you identify as a woman as a man I would not recommend staying here you will be harassed by the people who run the park. You will also see homeless people throughout park in their gazebo and in their restrooms. My hope is that more identifiers stay there and get them in trouble for not following the laws. There are better parks that are safer for families and provide better amenities for the price they charge.

We stayed here just as an overnight stop and that’s as long as I recommend staying. Booked online with military discount. When I checked in the woman at the desk told me that the discount was for retirees only, not active duty. This gave me an indication that this was not a place that wanted traditional campers and families. She then requested I pay the $6 difference in rate for the military discount. Would not accept cash because she had already closed her register. She then questioned me about the breed of dogs I had with me and I assured her that they were all small. She demanded to know exact breeds which I found strange considering the place was rated as pet friendly. Sites are level and clean, but the water pressure was insane at 100 psi. I needed 2 regulators to get it down to an acceptable level. Train tracks and interstate overhead were easily accessible but noisy. There are no Amenities at this “campground” but charged similar to places with everything. Overall fine for a one night stay but would not recommend staying here for anything more than that.

This RV park is the pits as for what you pay to stay there in the tiny spots with neighbors back to back on each side and close behind you. You have no yard area whatsoever unless you stay on a corner spot which are few. Then the ole park owner Carolyn Sundermeier isn’t nice and couldn’t care less about your water or electric working since she will never have someone there to fix it when stuff breaks. Gotta wait for her guy friend she knows to fix it as a favor. She was a mean person the whole time we stayed there and doesn’t know the first thing about people and property. Then the office assistant Mrs D Duncan, she’s a whole another story. Between being completely lazy and lying, to doing things behind the owners back, then when she gets caught she will do the unthinkable. An absolute mess that place was. Oh and don’t trust her with your mail either cuz she will open it. The laundry room was a joke too, just smelled all the time and machines are very small and old like the office. As far as the restrooms? You want hot water for your shower? You better go somewhere else for that. The only thing this park has going for it is the location being in town and close to ole French town But even that isn’t great considering the immediate neighborhood is run down , full of druggies and graffiti all over in the city park behind them.

This park is good. It’s in a really good location, close to many stores driving, close enough to enjoy St. Louis and far away enough from the city. We felt safe and slept great, quiet and peaceful. It’s all concrete and asphalt, easy to navigate with a 28 foot class C pulling a vehicle. The spaces are large and concrete with a picnic table, well lit. The restrooms and showers are clean. The office staff was nice. We would I stay here again no doubt.

Clean park. Very friendly staff. They are willing to work with you and your stay. Even though we had to move spots 3 times, because of my husbands job and not knowing how long we would be there, they worked with us. Thank you Sundemeier! You guys are the best!

For starters, they double booked our site. Just after we arrived, a women walked up and said they were assigned to that site. 2. No one in the office or answers the phone. 3. The place is like a parking lot in a residential neighborhood. Very few trees. Award winning???? Not that I can see. 4 you must have a water pressure regulator. Water pressure is way too high for anyone who doesn’t have one. You could probably get one from the office, if it was open. If you needed a place just off the highway to spend the night. I could see it. No way would I stay over one night.

Love it here! Love the park…the people that work here…Carolyn and Darleen are the best! We truly enjoy them! The park is adorable and full…clearly people feel the same way as we do! Facilities are clean and in order. The park is situated right off the Katy trail allowing very easy access into downtown. It is a must when visiting the area! The downtown St Charles is the most cutest little town we have been to! Thank you Sundermeier for being amazing!!!

Loved our stay. Easy access from the highway, although the turn down Transit St doesn’t appear to go to an RV park. Easy road for your RV though. Park is very clean with huge pads for your trailer and truck. Would come back.

Very clean, nice cement pads and hookups. Somewhat difficult to find, very little signage. Woman’s shower had very very little water pressure, didn’t shampoo hair, was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get soap out. Husband said good water pressure on his side. Very easy to reserve online and pick up map at office door. Second visit here.
