Was stayed in a motorhome. It was supposed to be a pull through site but we ended up in a side by side site due to a repaving project which meant dropping our trailer. Houses are really close together. RV site was good with 50 amps service. The pool is a nice place to hang out. I gave it a 4 star due to how dense the neighborhood is.

This community of seniors is awesome! We visited my son in law's Grammy and participated in the St. Patrick's day parade. So many active, happy seniors live here. Just go check out the Tiki Bar area to find food, drinks, live music and dancing. We were blessed to meet the senior most person who still drives her golf cart and lives to visit and dance. She will celebrate her 99th birthday in May!

Great place to spend time. Friendly service and resort owners. Plenty to do. No tipping at resort. Felt odd, but that was the policy. Centrally located to fast food and great sit down meals. We'll be back.

We stayed here as part of their Fall Special rate - can't beat the price for a longer stay. We split our stay between Canyon Vista Resort in Gold Canyon and Sunflower in Surprise. As we were only in Sunflower for 2 weeks of the fall special, we were able to stay in one of the "short term" spots in the back, which include a picnic table and are preferable (in our opinion) to the longer term sites within the park. Perhaps because they weren't as full in that area, so it felt more spacious. Park was well maintained and staff was helpful. You do hear the jets from Luke Airforce Base. We were in site 1135 - pull through with full hook-ups. Lots of activities in the park.

Really nice park. We enjoyed our stay except for the pickleball experience. One of our main reasons for staying at Sunflower was the pickleball courts. They were not friendly at all. Very clickish and we were met on the two occasions by the same lady when we went to play that the courts were reserved and we would not be able to play unless we were invited. We were never invited. We stayed each day for a bout 20 minutes and then left and not one person could have been bothered. Very disappointed and the locals there were not inviting. Suggest maybe a more welcoming atmosphere to help attract more people to your resort. We definitely felt like the outsiders and not worthy.
