Sunny Acres Mobile Home and RV Park

Overview

Sunny Acres Mobile Home and RV Park offers a quiet and established environment for travelers visiting the East Bay. Unlike high-turnover resorts, this park provides a stable, residential feel with plenty of mature trees providing shade throughout the grounds. It is a well-maintained community that welcomes RV travelers looking for a secure place to stay while exploring Northern California. The park’s layout is designed for easy navigation and a peaceful, settled atmosphere for all guests.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the heart of Concord, California, the park sits in a convenient suburban pocket. Its prime location near the BART station makes it an excellent choice for those who want to visit San Francisco or Oakland without driving their rig into the city. The surrounding neighborhood features easy access to grocery stores, local dining, and major highways, balancing urban convenience with a more relaxed, residential pace of life that is often hard to find in the Bay Area.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is equipped with essential features to ensure a comfortable stay. Each site includes full hookups with both 30 and 50-amp electrical service, catering to various rig sizes. Residents and guests have access to a refreshing swimming pool during the warmer months, as well as on-site laundry facilities and a community clubhouse. The property is pet-friendly, though travelers should check specific restrictions to ensure a smooth check-in for their furry companions.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate being a short drive from Mount Diablo State Park, which offers miles of hiking trails and panoramic views of the entire region. For family-friendly outings, Pixieland Amusement Park is a local favorite just minutes away. Shopping and dining are abundant at the nearby Sunvalley Shopping Center and The Veranda. Whether you are interested in exploring regional craft breweries or attending a concert at the Concord Pavilion, there is plenty to do nearby.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for extended-stay travelers or those working temporarily in the Bay Area who need a reliable and quiet home base. It also suits self-contained RVers who prefer a residential setting over a busy, transient tourist campground. If you value proximity to public transit and want a straightforward, well-managed experience in a safe neighborhood, Sunny Acres provides the practical features necessary for a successful California visit.

Great place to stay the people are very friendly the manager never answers the phone never does anything and she kept my security deposit and part of my rent money for the month so needless to say I was expecting a refund of at least $1,000 hours now I'm going to have to take her to court and actually charge her for my expenses and the days that I'll be missing work but I'm doing these out of principle

Worst management of any park I’ve ever experienced. I filled out my application and they didn’t answer the phone for TWO ENTIRE WEEKS. Then, after tracking them down after stopping by at least seven times, I finally found someone at the office. Turns out they gave my spot to somebody else and didn’t even know what size trailers could fit in each spot. I waited two weeks paying storage fees because of them only to not have a spot to move into because they don’t know what they’re doing. Do yourself a favor and don’t put yourself through the absolute disaster that would be living at the park. They’re totally inept and have no professionalism to speak of.

Very friendly residents that seem close knit. Also there is a pool/fitness center, and a place to wash your car!!
