Several years ago we skipped this place because the full timers were a bit sketch. Glad we gave it a second chance. The riff raff are gone and it's a clean and tidy park run by a welcoming older gentleman. Please pay him the respect of your business. Sites are flat and nice landscaping separates each pad. Took a star off for overnight road noise - many truckers use their Jake brakes, but a pair of quality ear plugs will allow a good night's sleep.

Good place to stop while traveling between Vegas and Reno, it's clean lots of room for the big RVs reasonably priced with your hook-ups really planned out. 😀

Wish I could leave a negative star rating. Just tried to make a month to month reservation for myself. And the first couple days would have my family as well. Man on phone stated they didn't have facilities for kids so kids weren't allowed. Fine. I offered to put them up in a hotel in Hawthorne but that wasn't sufficient. Sorry, we just don't accept kids then hung up. Most unprofessional, rude, and frankly discourteous exchange I've had in a long time. I can't urge any prospective renters enough to do what you can and stay IN Hawthorne. Don't bother with this joint. And if the person I just spoke with happens to read this, you have my number.

Amazing views of the valley. Birds galore & lots of places to explore on your ATV. A great oasis in the middle of nowhere.
