Sunset Cove Marina- Campground & RV Resort

This place has the nicest sunsets that I have ever seen. At first glance, SSC doesnt seem like much, but it is quiet and peaceful. The fishing was okay; we didn't catch much, actually, only one catfish, a 3-4 pounder. We were there in our RV, and we had enough space between our RV and the two others that were our neighbors. The biggest issue I had was a smell in the RV area; however, the attendants promptly addressed it. All in all, it was a good stay.

Great boat ramp! Easy to find, the owner was kind and showed us where to go. Was great to know our car was parked with some eyes! Well worth the fee. Shop had food, snacks, beverages and other lake essentials.

I loved being so close to the lake — it was perfect for fishing and relaxing by the water.
The campground was quiet and the people were friendly. However, there isn't much lake access to swim. No beach area to sit and enjoy the water. The sites for the RV's were small.

We stopped for a 1 night stay and this was one of the only places available nearby. This is your very basic RV campground with full hookups, boat launch, small convenience store and laundry facilities. They also have a grill that opens for breakfast ~6:30 which was a nice treat! The RV spots are basically like a parking lot, side by side, with a picnic table, no grill or fire pit. It appears that several people live here full-time, including the staff.

We were in the water front site and the views were beautiful. Easy access to fishing, restaurants, bars , grocery, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Only reason 5 stars wasn’t given was dump station had no water supply.

Our site was right on the marina. We had a good nights sleep here. There are no restaurants close to the RV park. They have a cafe open 7an-3pm. They have a small store with a food items that is open until 7pm. Great views.

We had a lake view and the vie was wonderful. We were visiting Thanksgiving 2023. We had trouble leveling our Motorhome. The owner was very helpful in helping us. This was our second park after purchasing our Motorhome so we were newbies.

Went once and wont go back. The place is mostly for residents and only 3 spots to rent that are packed tightly togther. So close in fact we could not open our canopy or even put our cornhole games out. All on gravel so no grass for pets and you are constantly surrounded by the full-timers. We drove in Friday afternoon and half a dozen employees stood under the shade tree and stared at us for about 3 hours while we unloaded. The next morning we woke up to about a dozen people fishing 10 feet from our camper. no place for us to fish even if we wanted to and just a few feet from where we are sleeping. The people next to us had a great view of the storage shed. daily admit fee is $7 so there is absolutlely no privacy. Will look for a place on the other side of the lake next time.

Okay for my first time one Sunday it was super quiet there weren't any people it was just me and my husband then a couple came and for a while the family came at 1:30 it's super quiet the water is clean I paid $7 for my husband and for me $7 for each person that yes no shadows near the water there are no tables near the water that's the bad thing but the rest is very nice many boats also come and you can come camping

Second time to stay at this great campground. Fishing is great. Sunsets are spectacular. And staff is exceptionally friendly. Look forward to our next visit!

Absolutely the best hamberger on the planet. Without exaggeration. If you are a conisour of beef burgers you will enjoy this place. Very small place, quite out of the way. Beautiful lake setting worth the drive.
