I spent a grand total of seven months here and do not have a single negative thing to say. Lots of positives though. Well kept grounds. Gated access/secure location. Very friendly guests. Activities for all to enjoy. Very quiet at night. And you can even see the SpaceX launches from the comfort of your location. I enjoyed my stay here and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient location with easy access to the Port of Brownsville or any of the various worksites in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 months at Sunset Palms. This RV park is very well kept and has regular fun activities. Great location for all the fun stuff in the Rio Grand Valley, only 25 minute drive to South Padre Island. The park hosts, Gary and Jackie Kruse, were so wonderful - they made us feel so welcome and were always available to help with questions. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in the valley.

The sites are small to large, even drive through. The grounds are kept clean and the gated access is nice. There is a DG Market one block away that brand new and well managed. Super convenient access to Port of Brownsville. Very quiet and peaceful most of the time and definitely at night. Wonderful staff.

South Texas is loaded with RV Parks for Winter Texans, but what sets this park apart is helpful customer service. Staff and park residents are friendly and respectful. The bath house is clean and showers are hot. There's a laundry with new machines that operate with an app. A great library and activities for guests. This park isn't large, but it's big on good vibes. We'd be happy to return. Oh, they even have a trash pickup (at your site) daily.
