Don’t bother calling if you have a very expensive “class B” motorhome. My new Airstream was rejected staying the night even though it’s class and quality exceeds some of the other guests. Reply to owner: We would have been happy to be able to spend several nights there. We’ve never been rejected anywhere. I even asked, “are you sure?” Answer: “we don’t take ‘vans’”. The Airstream “vans” are extremely well appointed.

This RV Resort is beautiful. The geography surrounding it is amazing and the general overall ambiance is peaceful. It's close to all of your needed conveniences such as fast food joints, and grocery stores. Great place to unwind and relax!

Good afternoon! I want to let everyone know about my experience with this RV park so you don’t make the same mistake we did! I have a conference for work coming up and we decided to take the RV to make a weekend out of it. Then the conference is moved to a one day event and we decided not to take everything up. We contacted them as it says to with the conference still more than 3 weeks away. We understood that there would be a 20% cancellation fee, however they told us that they wouldn’t be returning ANY of the money. If you need to go to this area, go ANYWHERE ELSE, I know there are many conferences and adventurers looking to go to this area. Life happens, and this RV park sadly will not honor their own policies. A hotel or any other park will let you cancel, some with a full refund as long as it is 48-72 hours away, but this park with 3 weeks notice and plenty of time to fill the spot thinks they are entitled to keep it. Thank you to Sunset Point for the response! I want to make it clear that the only way to contact them is through calling or email. As it was late, we emailed and received a response the very next morning. We did receive a vague refund policy which I will copy and paste here. I re-read it for this purpose and there are even more red flags in their refund policy, MAKE SURE TO READ BEFORE BOOKING. It definitely is not clear. I do think it is quite clear in my post that we did not stay there, but I didn’t want to give a falsely higher rating given my experience and warning here. I also do want everyone to take a moment to appreciate the entitlement and sheer arrogance in the response from the park. They definitely show you how “nice, and welcoming” this establishment must be. To the owner: the point of my post is to warn people… You saying I won’t be staying at your establishment because I gave you an unfavorable review, is exactly my point. Again, thank you for the response, and just a warning about this specific park to all of my fellow travelers!

Beautiful and very high-end RV park. The staff are very friendly and helpful, lawn and common areas are pristine and well kept, excellent boat ramp and dock area. This is our favorite spot to spend our weekends in the summer!! Quiet and small but also very kid friendly and safe.

We had a fabulous stay at Sunset Point RV Resort. It is situated away from busy roads and overlooks Lake LBJ, making it a peaceful water setting. We stayed a week in May, and even though it was warm, there were cool breezes in the mornings and evenings and beautiful sunsets and moon rises. We found the camp hosts very friendly and our dog Ozzie was given a warm welcome with a bag full of dog treats by Cindy in the office . We look forward to returning someday !☀️

Very clean park and beautiful location. Super nice folks running the place too. Had a back-in lakeside spot and would highly recommend. A very enjoyable stay overall!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We booked a block of 20 sites many months ago for our our RV Club Rally. The manager reduced our block to 15 and placed several of those in less than full hook up sites. The rest of our group that wanted to make a reservation were told none were available. The manager gave our other sites to current guests who wanted to stay longer than their reservation called for. The management of Sunset Point does not honor an agreement and commitment. The manager then refused to offer a refund of our deposits since we had to cancel the rally. We only cancelled because several of our members could not attend due to the actions of management. Beware! None of our members will ever book at Sunset Point again. Here is the manager’s quote he provided in writing, “ Basically what happened is we had several Winter Texans, whom are normally gone by mid-January to early February, decide to stay due to all the weather conditions in their home states. As most of the Winter Texan guest have been with us since November it just wasn’t possible to make them leave. A lot more goes into this short explanation, but that is the jest of why we are short 5 sites.”

We have absolutely nothing bad to say about Sunset Point. The campground is extremely clean and well maintained. Our spot (space #40) had a privacy fence and paved patio area plus an additional paved patio area at the back of the space. It was quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the lake. We will definitely be back and will bring our friends.

We stayed in site 44 for 2 weeks. Lots and lots of pride of ownership here. One of the cleanest and beautiful parks we've stayed. The view from the park across the street from our site 44 at sunset was gorgeous! We had easy access to the lake to do some kayaking. Located in the Marble Falls area in the hill country and many restaurants and other Hill Country places to visit. Highly recommend this place!
