The beach was beautiful, shallow and close. Dining, grocery and gas around the corner by car, The park had a parking lot feel but the part that made this place awful was the seasonal campers. They constantly walked through our site if we were inside or sitting outside. We were here for 5 nights and each night we listened to them talking loudly. The worst was Saturday night. I had the trailer fan on plus ear buds and I could still hear them. The office is only open until 6 and closed randomly during the day. When I called I got an answering machine. The staff we did talk to were kind. Right now there's a fire band on and we saw 3 gas fire pits going with flames so high you could see from a distance. Garbage in our fire pit wasn't ours. Garbage around the locals trailers too.

The place is located right next to a beautiful beach. The spot we had needed a weedeater and looked at the freezer unit for Al MacInnis ice rink. Some clean up is well over due around the complex and basketball court. Not worth the money for the rules.

We were touring Cape Breton on Labour Day weekend and on Saturday, late afternoon called to see if there were any vacancies. Kasey MacDonald was very kind, courteous and helpful getting us settled in for the night. It’s a great family campground, located on a beautiful beach so we decided to stay another night.

Amazing location ruined by weird rules -bathrooms and showers close at 7pm?! -no water available at the tent sites even with the public building right next to the spots -street lights cast on the camp spots -perimeter is fenced for no reason, if its a safety issue with the "cliff" just a rope fence would be sufficient Throw the administration out, they seem to have too much time on their hands.. :s

Basic amenities if tenting but was a very convenient location to stay as we were participating in the Port Hood Triathlon early in the morning. One bathroom is open between 7:30PM and 8:30AM and it's located behind the pool. Showers open during the day but make sure you bring exact change (you'll get 5 minutes with a $1 coin). Short walk to the beach. They were flexible about our check-out time as our site was not booked the second day and we really appreciated this!

Pool and facilities are poorly maintained. In 5 days I've not seen the pool area or its bathroom cleaned. The bathroom is frankly disgusting. Site was not cleaned when we arrived, check-in was pitiful without any information whatsoever, office is closed half the time. At $1400 for a month the place is just milking the location and neglecting the campground. Beaches are beautiful so I may come back for that (Beaches are public btw) but never for a month as there are much nicer campgrounds for less money.

Great place. Very calm. Nice views. Beach. Pool. Lot of long term or full season folks but all very friendly to one night folks like us. It’s only my second time on a campground so I’m not an expert but looks great and the kids love it. And the WiFi is top!! (And needed as no cellular network available for me). Friendly staff. Some amenities nearby like a co-op shop and some restaurants.
