Was like camping in a swamp. Concrete pad was 30% gone and what remained was in pieces. Nice beautiful grass that you sunk in about 6 inches deep if you attempted to walk on it. Truck and motorcycle both sunk and spun the mud everywhere. Plus they had no waste water drain on your site. Will never go there again.

Awesome staff. Brand new bathrooms just like the Ritz Carlton! I was there 1st to use the showers. What an improvement. Have been coming here for years for bike week and biketoberfest. I will be returning. Great location!

I’ve recently retired and travel full time in a class-A rv and I’m a member of Thousand Trails. Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona is the 14th campground I stayed at and has become one of my favorite sites, only had 3 before arriving here. From the start before I arrived I was in contact with Wayne and I had a few concerns and he took care of everything like someone would for a family member. I did the online check in which worked perfectly, pulled into the office and was upgraded to a better site because my original site was still occupied, probably a late checkout issue. Proceeded to park and everything was perfect, was even contacted a few times from the staff asking if everything was ok and if any assistance was required they would be available. Hopped on my bike to check out the place and it is beautiful, clean, well maintained and the landscaping was beautiful groomed. On our second day was again contacted by the staff, making sure all was fine and it was. We then decided to relax at the pool and wow, one of the cleanest. The pool itself was clean, water was perfect and while using what appeared to be brand new furniture enjoying the sun and admiring the landscaping within the pool area and at that moment was the time Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona became one of my favorite places to stay. We stayed here for three weeks and the last day was just as good as the first day. We are planning to return here as many times as we can.

When you first pull in you are met with the gorgeous view of the pond and Huge whimsical like treees! As a family that travels often and all over Encore really is one of our most favored parks to stay at. They truly set the bar high, compared to other RV Resorts. Theres a tennis court and a spot for a fun game of mini golf! The natural beauty of this little oasis speaks for itself. They have two laundry areas for park guests that are regularly cleaned, a newly redone pool fence and an updated dog park and children’s play area. I always say go see for yourself and not always assume the reviews you read on the internet. Missi really made check in a breeze and I really appreciated their thoroughness with that. Dawn is really sweet and helpful, but she and Missi take no nonsense. This is a community and these two ladies really look out for their community. We dealt with a situation after hours recently, Rich from maintenance took the call and had the issue addressed very rapidly. They are finishing up I some remodeling in the front bathrooms so those are not available at this time but a very short walk or drive to the back hub and you will find a gorgeous clubhouse perfect for that divorce party you always dreamed of or just a small gathering. The pool is kept clean, and is nicely maintained. Don’t forget to add Sunshine Holiday to your families next camping trip.

We love this campground. The swimming pool is very nice and was re-done about 6 months ago. Our site was just a short walk away from the pool. Our site had some tree cover but not so much that it interfered with satellite reception. A lot, but not all of the sites are pull-through. Spacing between the sites is good. Sites are long enough for a 40 foot motorhome, but you may have to disconnect your towed vehicle or trailer. Plenty of activities (paddle ball, miniature gold, playground, etc.) if you are into that stuff. Most parking at the sites is on the ground, well packed sandy soil, and is level. Some of the concrete patio pads are breaking up a little bit. Conveniently located. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. As of July 2025, they are renovating the bath/shower facilities by the office/pool.

Nice Encore campground near Daytona and Flagler Beach. Yeah, it's not exclusive 5 star resort it's a campground. Clean and felt safe.

By far the worst Encore experience yet, and there have been some very questionable RV parks in past stays with Encore. Didn’t even stay-canceled reservation. Made my reservation months in advance for a 7 day stay, 30amp full-hookup. Arrived, staff was pleasant to start with, and gave me my spot. Drove to the site, all while remembering the large sign as I came in saying “not responsible for power surges or lightning.” Yup, not a problem, I always use a surge protector. So, arrive at the site, plug in surge protector and immediately get an error stating a ground fault. Walked back to the front office, advised them of the situation, they said they would send a maintenance person out immediately; which they did. Nice gentleman checked the power and confirmed that there was a common wire that went to ground. I stated that I wasn’t able to hook up due to my surge protector reading a fault. He said yeah, the park is pretty old and there’s nothing he can really do about it. Now I walk back to the office for a second time to explain the situation, very calmly, and ask for another site. One of the ladies then states we don’t have any more sites, you’ll have to call Thousand Trails. That was it, no thinking out of the box, no can we assist you, it was just basically you’re shit out of luck. I asked to speak to the manager and a few other ladies in the office started working trying to blend different sites together to get a full seven days straight. They came up with another site which the Manager drove me to, and it was not much wider than my trailer and slightly shorter than the length of my 33’, in between two run down permanent mobile homes, an absolute atrocious site. The Manager said we could go back to the office and keep working on another site for me. All along I’m remaining calm, trying to understand how these things happen and waiting for another assignment. After being given a third site, I walked to that number and found that it was occupied. I decided this time to call the front office and calmly let them know the situation. They informed me that they were sending two people out immediately, which I can only assume they were going to evict the person, mind you it’s around 3pm. I remained on the phone and I was going to ask another question when I was rudely and abruptly hung up on. At that point, I knew I had had enough and that this was just gonna be a nightmare park. I calmly walked into the manager‘s office, explained the situation & he was baffled that any of his staff would’ve hung up on me. I requested the permission to sit in his parking lot while I got on my computer and tried to find an RV park that had an open site, on a Sunday afternoon, just as Daytona bike weekend was ending; which he kindly approved. I hope you read this to the end and take head, I am sure Encore will just give a computer generated response saying thank you for your comment, we will do better. The park knows the electrical issues, it HAS to be common knowledge, I’m certain I’m not the first person to run into this situation. Well, I hope this actually reaches a real person and they actually do, do better. Additional: If you find yourself sitting in their parking lot on a Sunday afternoon, trying to find an rv spot. I highly suggest BULOW RV park, about 10 minutes up 95. Wonderful, clean, spacious park. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s an Encore park.

Upon arrival we had to clear the site of garbage and dog feces so that we could hookup without tracking anything inside. We wish someone would have checked out the site before our arrival especially since checkout is at 11 and check in isn’t until 2. Overall the campground is fine but there are certainly issues that need to be addressed. There are a lot of long term campers that have run down or garbage filled sites. Everyone should be expected to maintain a certain appearance in order to stay at a resort. The pool was down our entire stay and based on recent reviews it had been for months. The bathrooms were pretty run down and/or broken. Makes Encore look like they don’t have enough money or money management to maintain their grounds. Where is all of the money going? Camping hasn’t been getting any less expensive by any means and there are more of us out here now than ever.

Encore RV Resorts, please do better, and campers beware. We are without water on average twice a week here and given BS reasons each time, crappy water quality, pool out for almost 3 months and still paying the same monthly ($844 + $175 on average for power). Sad dog park-mostly dirt- I don't take my dog there due to contamination risk (worms, parasites), 1 foot tall ant mounds in children's playground (office said residents are responsible for pest control in the common areas. My 2 year old and I almost got eaten alive yesterday by a mound we tripped on), crappy washers/dryers behind campground office- company's (Commerical Laundries, Inc.) customer service is literally non-existent- dryers have burned several of my kid's blankets and clothing, outdated clubhouse (Hub) crappy, bumpy, not maintained road near fence line by our lot & many others'. The tree company that came to trim the pine trees and cut the downed trees last week after Hurricane Milton, literally cut 1 small branch over our RV and left. The "landscapers" just blow leaves and acorns onto our lot instead of cutting the overgrown grass. I could go on and on. We are the most laid back family- we never complain, but this place has seriously gone down hill quick in the past 3 months. Side note- we absolutely love our neighbors and dog friends- that's all that's keeping us here. Dawn, Missy, and Wayne from the front office are awesome employees and individuals in general and are not responsible for any of this mess. It's out of their control. It's on corporate. Pure negligence & greed.

Nice quiet place swings that has a pool it has covered areas you can sit with huge umbrellas cement in the ground lots of RVs and fifth wheels Park was full when I was there February 24th 2022 nice big trees lots of shade a lake down at the beginning of the park where you can do some fishing and I believe they have tennis courts to Lake Park compared to some of the rest that don't offer swings and pools and showers and a little office/ store kitchen Cafe

Tight parking spots and lots of confusion on who is supposed to be where. This is part due to Thousand trails confusion. The people are super nice but the bathrooms suck. Showers are old and not convenient. 4 soap containers on the sink wall and only one had soap in it. This place has lots of mobile homes with permanent residences with RV parking between Mobile homes. We would not stay here again, but the people sure are nice.

The staff is nice, especially Dawn. Other than that nothing great. Out site was a mud puddle. I use the bath houses wherever I go. I stayed here 4 days and not once was it cleaned. Very nasty. The floor was slippery and I fell. I told them and went back and bathroom was nasty again and no non slip rugs. You would think they could afford non slip rugs with the place packed and every site occupied. There is one bathhouse for the whole place. No activities and the store was empty. It’s also pretty pricey. The pool was nice but the heater was broken. I would say stay elsewhere.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Beyond that my advice is keep driving. The park is laid out in concentric rings with only two spokes so be prepared to drive in circles. The streets are unmarked and some of the lot numbers are almost illegible. It's ok up near the office but out where they sent me the "streets" are dirt, ill defined, poorly lit, and some dead end. The drainage is poor. My site was muddy. If you do stop definitely don't arrive after dark or you may spend the night looking for your spot.

Disgusting smell of raw sewage coming from their processing building located ON the campground. It’s a green building next to the dog park at the back of the campground. If you have a campsite in that large section you smell sewage constantly. We couldn’t sit outside our RV. We spoke to the office who underplayed it and would not directly admit it was their building on their property. Do not recommend
