We rented a Park Model here for a month. The unit was so clean with new or almost new furniture, towels, utensils and pots and pans. There was no hair dryer, car port or deck, FYI There is Lots to do, all sorts of activities and some sports like pickle-ball and ping pong are in the air conditioned buildings! The pool is nice and warm. The hot tub is perfect.Walking in the evening feels very safe. There is even a volunteer group that drive a security golf cart around at night. Some things to be aware of... if the month you stay has 31 days you will be charged for electricity ($50 for us). I think if you stay 30 days it is included. You might want to come on a week day. There is no one in the office on weekends (that is fair) but if they have not co-ordinated the key drop... this brings me to my last point :) The residents are so friendly and helpful. One guy found an open window in our unit and crawled in to open the door. Amazing!

Sunshine RV is a vibrant and warm place with many great activities. We were there for only two weeks and were able to attend two concerts, happy hour dance, two dance lessons, wood shop three times and have a presentation on healthy plant based eating. Still so many activities for next time! What a special place! Everyone makes you feel welcome. We look forward to coming back for longer.

3 Weeks is not enough!! We are ThousandTrails members so we were on the Lakeside of the resort, they had us next to the road but were were able to pick another one farther from the freeway. We chose site number 3245 way in the back. Did not know it would be such a great spot, we had a view of the Lake and every day a resident feeds the Whistling and Muscovy ducks (a few hundred) what a site to see, he is like the pied piper. We will definitely miss this resort. It is actually a bird sanctuary with Pelicans, Spoonbills and Stilts...so fun!!! Only 3 more days and we are leaving 😞

I have owned a Park Model at Sunrise RV Resort for about three years. I have been on site for nine years. The staff and Park Manager are simply put Awesome. Ms. Flores is the fourth manager since my wife and I started going to Sunshine. By far she is the BEST. I highly recommend Sunshine RV Resort. The People who winter in Texas are more like Family than Friends. Come join the Fun.

We stayed here for a few months. The park is clean and well-maintained. Most of the staff and residents are friendly and easy to work with. However, there are a few (one in particular) that seem to make things more difficult than they need to be. I'm sure it's not like that for everyone, especially the full-time residents. I just had a very odd/unique situation, that could have been remedied, but the staff member was simply unwilling. - My advice would be not to utilize the mailroom if you don't plan on being a longtime resident - USPS will not allow for you to forward your mail, regardless of having a unit #, because the main address (1900 Grace Ave) is registered as a business.

This park is really clean and nice. Its all around a nice place to stay. We've been staying at this park since Dec. 2020 and started off paying a little over 300 a month. (utilities not included) we now pay 582 monthly. (utilities not included) The front desk paper on what you will pay monthly is not right at all! Our price of staying here at the park has went from affordable for a camp site to expensive. We will be moving soon due to the rise of the monthly rates spiking! This price we pay doesn't include the utility bill. That runs us about 100 bucks a month! DONT GO OFF THE MONTHLY RATE PAPER/POST THEY HAVE!
