Honestly if I could give no stars I would absolutely WORST place to stay rent is more than average in the area there's commons fees they don't even tell you about when you first move in. Staff are rude especially Maxine she is the park manager and is the RUDEST person on this earth. If I were you I would definitely go to sun and lakes or lake placid campground they have nice staff and no hidden fees or judgy people rent is decent there too. they kicked out a small family with a baby because they wouldn't pay them (yes they worked for the park and because the park didn't pay them and they got kicked out). The staff that is nice get treated badly by the higher up staff. They will tell you something is ok to do then turn around and charge you a $100 violation fee without warning All thoes other reviews you see are before they changed everything about the park and highered all new staff

This place used to be a nice place. It was fine until these clowns Trenna and Maxine took over management. They’re very rude, fining people for no reason, Very unprofessional, have absolutely no business being the managers. They have no clue as to what they’re doing. They don’t know how to act at all. They don’t care about the people who live in the park at all seriously! If you don’t want to be angry and bitter every day avoid the park and Trenna and Maxine at all costs!

We lived there for a few years and it wasn’t that bad at the beginning. But since the new management has come they are just the WORST. DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK. The fees are way too overpriced compared to the quality of the park and their services. The water’s quality is extremely low there’s always a precautionary notices about it. The common pool had black mold in it but they don’t want the people to know about it. The management crew Treena and Maxine are incompetent, rude, hostile and not helpful at all. They come up with random rules (like do not leave your hose on your property or cut your grass again and again) and then charge you $100 fine without even noticing you first. They charge these fines like candy. They don’t care about anything just collect fines from everyone. This park is definitely NOT A GOOD PLACE to live or camping. I strongly recommend to avoid it.

I come to this RV park not for its looks because there is nothing to look at. The pool is the only thing that is good. they have no weekend entertainment in the summer months. on July 18th was a Friday corporate fired all the office management and replace them with new management and on that day management closed the pool I could not contact no one until Monday morning when I was told at 8:30 am to come back after 9:00 am and they will have an answer when the pool is going to be reopen, I did not have the time to go back so I called at 10:30 am new management was rude and nasty when I asked her about the pool how long is the pool going to be closed for 8 days or longer she couldn't give me a definite date I asked the woman on the phone want is wrong with the pool she said I didn't have to tell you or if I did you couldn't fix it. So, I asked her if I'm going to get any credit. Her answer was no I asked her for the phone number to corporate her answer was no and hung up on me. they never send out emails on information on the pool. the open was open one week later they took the sign off the gate. the camper next to me his water pipe broke. He called the number no one answered it took him an hour looking for maintenance no contact numbers on the door of the office. it was a nice place till new management took ownership I have a 5th wheel bye-bye

My lady and I just spent 2 winter months at the Sunshine RV Resort in Lake Placid, FL which we paid for in advance. As a result of our stay, we will never return to that resort. When we arrived, we were shown to our camping spot by one of their personnel. He took us in to the sight from a poor direction not leaving much room to maneuver. As we were turning to back into the sight, the rear of my RV hit the front fender of the neighbor’s car putting a dent in it. The RV man parking us was not in view of my rearview mirror and did not stop me until after the accident. We ended up having to go around the block and enter from the other direction. As a result, the resort wouldn’t take any responsibility for the accident and I had to pay for it myself. The resort maintenance manager told me that the man parking us didn’t know what he was doing. In addition to this initial problem, we experienced, the water was contaminated twice during our stay and the water pressure was minimal several times. The internet service didn’t work the majority of the time either. When we got our electric bill, there were additional charges which we were told was for our portion of the entire resort’s electric bill. Also during our stay, the heater on the swimming pool went out twice making it too cold to get into. Our neighbors, who were full timers, put their place up for sale after more than 10 years there during our stay and told us they have had enough of the negative issues in this resort. The only good thing I can say about it is that the people who played pickleball there were very friendly and accommodating. Think carefully before you decide to visit this RV resort.
