A very nice campground. My only complaint was we brought our travel trailer up and the lot was pretty sloped from the entry to the back of our lot. Made it a bit challenging to get the camper situated and level, but we figured it out!

One of the most beautiful places I have camped in northern Minnesota. Our site had direct access to Flour Lake with amazing views. Being in a secluded area the wild life is very active. We were fortunate enough to see moose, deer, wolves, and loons calling every night and morning on the lake. Highly recommend for those who love to camp far from others.

Excellent campgrounds! The sites are well spaced & rustic. The perfect place to be lulled to sleep by Loons & get off the grid for a bit. Rustic campground - pit toilets and no showers. You have to purchase firewood on the way up or at one of the lodges.

This is my preferred place to camp. The vaulted bathrooms are taken care of and Golden Eagle Lodge always has the best firewood. Quite simply put they manage the campground well. The trails that surround it have beautiful views and the feel of the campground is so peaceful and feels like a home away from home while camping.

We found this gem of a campground in the middle of a pivot for our family vacation this year. The campsites are nice…ones with an uphill slope are best due to the rain. Some have a downhill slope which makes rainy days miserable. I would rate this one higher stars if the people caring for it, Golden Eagle Resort would take better care of the bathrooms. On day 1 the bathroom needed maintenance but wasn’t done for days and that was only after flagging down a truck. Clean the bathrooms daily and the stars would grow.
