The beauty and quiet setting of this KOA Campground makes it a favorite with overnight campers, as well as families enjoying an extended vacation or weekend getaway. Our sites are Big Rig friendly and our cabins make your stay feel a little more like home. We recently added some new amenities that everyone can enjoy. Challenge your family and friends to a game of Water Wars or Corn Hole, pan for gems in our new Gem Mine (Spring 2021), bounce on our updated jumping pad, or spend some time relaxing at our catch and release pond which is fully stocked with bass, blue gill and catfish. Our camp store features a variety of things to fill your needs.

While you are staying with us, take some time to enjoy and experience all that the surrounding area has to offer. Visit the Lost Sea that offers a unique cave experience, take a tour at Mayfield Dairy Farms or Sweetwater Valley Cheese Farm and go shopping at Sweetwater's Antique District. If you'd rather take in the scenery, take a drive through the Cherokee National Forest or down the Cherohala Skyway. You can immerse yourself in nature with a short walk down one of our nature trails, go boating on a nearby lake or by bird watching. Our campground provides the perfect base camp for a day trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood and many other fantastic attractions.

My husband and I took our 1 year old son here for our first family vacation. Deanna and Celeste made us feel extremely welcomed..The grounds were clean and delightful..the cabin was the perfect size. We will be returning again!

KOA was fantastic! They took us in on very short notice. The whole area is nicely set up and includes a little store where you can buy basic supplies and some food. There's even a game room with board games, a Pac-Man and a craft area. The cabin we stayed in was very tidy and well thought through. We had everything we needed, and it was very cute. 100% would go back!

5/5 then add 5 more! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The park was always clean, bathrooms immaculate, and play area was well kept. The campsite was spacious and tidy. They even decorated for Halloween, which my children loved seeing. The food was so good. The store had all the necessities needed. The park was quiet and everyone was so friendly. Definitely would visit again.

Stayed here 2 nights in late August. Friendly people helped us modify and existing reservation. The site was nice and we used corn hole and lawn area. Good access to visit friends in Telico. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean. We also got propane gas there and someone transported and filled tank for us. This is our second stay there and we will visit again.

The first few years we came here we absolutely loved it. The cabins are so nice and everything is clean and its pretty quiet. The staff was so welcoming. Especially the older guy that worked day and night and greeted you every day on his golf cart but he no longer works here as of 2025 . The people in the front are still super nice, the new ground workers don't seem as friendly, didn't greet us when we walked by. Still a very nice clean KOA. Much more quiet than Pigeon Forge
