A great campsite by the Salomon River. The pitches are not too large, but sufficient. We have been to many campsites during our travels through the USA. Nowhere else did we find such great washrooms. They are almost bigger than at home. We have met some nice campsite owners, but Bill from Swiftwater RV Resort is more than just a host. You feel like a friend there. Thank you, Bill, and all the best to you.

Great little RV park on the river and close to Whitebird, ID. We were there in May which is a good time to go and avoid the heat of Summer! We had a wind storm come through and a couple of trees needed to be cut and removed after dropping close to the RV but the owners had a service out there a few days later and took care of it. This park is electric and water only with a dump station. They also meter the power so be prepared to pay a few bucks if you use a heater or air conditioning a lot. We paid $6 extra for the 6 days we were there using the heater . The dump station is a bit tight if you have a longer rig. They do have a big lot you can turn around in so without that, things would not have worked out so well. Great spots along the rivers edge for back in campers and the pull through spots are roomy and not to bad. They have a gazebo with fire pit that you can use and it is stocked with wood. Overall, good place to stay!

A gem of a RV place by the river! The warm welcome and the genuine and generous care from the owners made us feel like home! Thank you Bill for taking us out in the back country! Hope to be back again one day in spectacular Idaho Tom & Suzanne

We hit the jackpot in Western Idaho with Swiftwater RV Park. The park, and our site, back right up to the Salmon River. There is a path to a nice beach where you can bring a chair or lounge and cool off in the river. We are 43’ and could back right up with the view out our window but had to park our truck in the overflow which was no big deal. They have showers/ laundry etc. super nice surprise is the covered grilling area with picnic tables and the covered fire pit gazebo. The owners and camp hosts are all amazing. Water and electric hookups with a dump station (again, right on the river so I’m sure regulations don’t allow sewer that close to the river). We were nicely shaded. Side to side the spots are a bit close together but our space out the back made up for that. Again, highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful place in Western Idaho.

Pam and her husband run an awesome little RV park right on the Salmon River. As I write this I'm sitting under a vented Gazebo with a beautiful firepit watching the Salmon River flow. Very clean bathrooms, shower and Laundry room. We're traveling across the United States on bicycles, sleeping in a tent and they have been very accommodating. They have a covered pavilion with several picnic tables and a gas grill. Great setting, relaxing and an awesome experience.

Awesome little RV park for camping on the Salmon River. We love the views. Only downside is there are no sewr hookups, but there is a dump station on site and they have a sewer tote if you don't feel like moving the rv when the black tank is full.

On the river —no traffic off the beaten path. Right in white bird

Little hard to get a toy hauler into. Nice staff.

Pretty spot away from the crowd. Pretty tight spot for big rigs but doable.
