Great campground for vacationing or traveling professionals. Clean, friendly people in a safe and quiet town. Level sites with concrete pads, picnic table, full hookups, with laundry at the large shower house. 2 big lakes with great fishing and a beach where you can swim in the summer. Friendly owners, great spot. 10/10 I will be staying here again.

I’d like to start off by saying to all of my fellow Google reviewers thank you for the support over the years. I’ve hope I’ve given you some great advice for a great and fun places to visit as well as ones to avoid so here’s another one. I have visited this campground roughly 3 winter seasons in the past few years and never had a problem up till now. I have even stayed at the same spot that they provided and never had a conflict with the owners on how I would position my camper however, I recently booked a season there and when I arrived, I was explaining that the way I’ve parked my camper there so many years ago was wrong and they wanted to position my camper less than a half a foot next to a tree during the winter season, which has caused problems with my previous Camper at another location in the past, when I explained this to them, I was treated with disrespect by the elderly man who is co-owner when I have been conversing with his wife on staying there. Then proceeded to scold me and talk down to me of positioning my Camper when I’ve explained to him that I’ve never had this problem before as he started getting hostile. I felt that He was completely unprofessional and making me feel uncomfortable and safe when I explained this to his wife when she wasn’t there, she didn’t care and decided to support her husband‘s actions, regardless of his disrespect and verbal aggression they wouldn’t even accommodate me with another space because the space that they were providing was a small space that no one wanted in the first place. I have had conversations with other people who stay there in the past and due to the rent raise and the dangerous town that they live in. It’s almost not worth staying there anymore so when I finally confronted both owners, they said they were going to refund my total amount minus a $25 cancellation fee when I later found out that they kept $150 on bogus fees that they’re claiming I owe them when I never stayed there not even for an hour . I’ve learned throughout the years As I’ve visited that the people have become more shady and disrespectful toward everyone and anyone including customers who pay them an insane amount of money to be disrespected my suggestion is to avoid Sycamore RV at all costs when there are over 50 other campsites surrounding this area north south east and west I for one have had enough with people taking advantage of other people like they have boy caught them at all costs and feel free to give them a bad review as they deserve it and be cautious of what you sign and what you pay for. Be safe and have a great year.

We LOVE Sycamore Rv Resort! We’ve stayed there while traveling for my husbands job, and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. The campground is quiet and secluded, while still being close to anything you could need. It’s beautifully maintained, and we will definitely stay again in the future!

Sites are on top of each other, and the customer service is severely lacking. Yard maintenance takes place once every other week, but first thing in the morning. After staying here for several months we had a expensive package accidentally delivered to the “resorts” address. We called their front desk and we received nothing but rudeness and no help. After paying for an ups pick up we’ve been told that the package “can no longer be found” even tho it was delivered less than a week ago. These people don’t care about their customers end of story

Stayed here for several months, and while the location was great. The customer service Is lacking. After my stay I accidentally had a $300 fishing packaging sent to their address. As soon as it was delivered I realized I had it shipped to the wrong address. I called the park and ask for their help to get it shipped to my address (at my cost) they refused to help. All they would have to do is drop the package off at the UPS store which is less than 2 miles away.

Love The Sycamore RV resort. The owner, Dale, is always so helpful. This campground is a beautiful oasis hidden in the heart of Sycamore, and I highly recommend you take the time to visit!

Nice campground! Two lakes provide plenty of wildlife and walk-around to enjoy. Well maintained campground, but the front of our site did need low hanging branches to be trimmed up as our fifth wheel RV is 12.5 feet tall, about an average height. When leaving, we were able to avoided possible roof damage by backing up and leaving an alternate way, so that worked out fine. Owners were very accommodating and helpful when we were asking questions about the right site for us. They suggested the perfect site for us and our friends camping together. Sycamore is a very nice city with good places to eat and big stores for any needs. We were delighted to find various well maintained bike trails accessible just outside the campground. We had a great time and will be going back!

Crabby old man at front desk was rude and arrogant. Our reserved “water front” campsite was just in a parking lot, almost on top of other campers. Very little room. Everything is locked up including bathrooms and swimming entry. Walked a half mile with 2 small kids to find beach entry locked. No sign indicated it would be locked. Waited 30 min for someone to open it. Whole weekend was a nightmare here. I’d give it zero stars if i could, but you get a 1.

Just stayed one night on our way from KY to WI but really enjoyed it! We called to let them know we'd get there just after they were to close at 6 and they said they'd wait for us, which we appreciated. The gravel site was level and had full.hook ups and a nice view of the small lakes on the property. There's a gravel road around one lake and a walking trail around the other, which was a lovely and easy way to stretch our legs after a long day driving. The bath house with it's separate shower rooms, complete with sink and toilet were among the best and cleanest we've seen. We walked the mile or so to downtown Sycamore (easy walk with sidewalks). There were several shops, restaurants and historic buildings there. Most were closed by the time we got there but we went back in the morning for coffee and bagels from Shawn's - excellent! We will definitely stay here next year when we're passing through again!

We've stayed at Sycamore RV Resort three times. Each stay has been pleasantly different. We have enjoyed walking the trail around the lake, exploring downtown Sycamore, biking the Great Western bike trail and relaxing at the campground. The campground offers a picturesque setting to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Dale and Anita are great hosts who do a professional job of keeping their campground a nice place to stay. Looking forward to going back soon.

We stayed 2 nights at Sycamore RV Resort and found everything perfect. They met us at our car and escorted us to the spot. We had a beautiful view of the larger lake and were able to take a walk around the lake on the gravel road. The park was quiet and well taken care of. I highly recommend visiting this park if you are looking for a peaceful camping experience.

Spent a week here in our 5th wheel visiting family over Easter. We are full timers who have stayed in many campgrounds/resorts over the past 2 years. We really liked that there was green space at the campground. The ponds & walking trails were lovely. Sycamore is the historic town that my family is from & we liked that we could easily walk into town & the library. Our site contained a fire ring & picnic table, the laundry was clean, & it was nice to be escorted to our site. The owners were not overly friendly/welcoming initially, but on our last day they actually smiled & talked to us. The campground seemed to have 3 sections: full timers (kind of rough), nice grassy lake side sites, & the gravel parking lot where we stayed. Road into campground was very rutty & tight for bigger rigs. We felt the price was higher for what available in the off season. Even though we are self- contained, we would have liked that the showers & bathrooms were opened. WiFi was spotty so ended up disconnecting. Our greatest disappointment is that there were so many rules/fees for visitors. The main reason we stayed here was to be close to relatives over Easter, but felt nickel & dimed to have them visit us here for what we paid.

Staying for the winter and am very happy with this park! Nice size, not too big. 2 beautiful ponds. They keep the place nice and clean!
