Beautiful little jewel of a campground. Several cabins, pavilions and plenty of area for kids to play. 8 shady level full hookups. Quite a few sites with water and electricity. We will definitely come back here.

We found this place sort of last minute when we realized Blanchard Springs campgrounds were closed. They allowed us to book online after hours. Note the waterfront tent sites are on rock, and we didn't know, but the staff was amazing and they let us move to another site. Their store prices are affordable and all of the staff and fellow campers were friendly. This place is close to everything you want to see in the area and also not far from town. I highly recommend staying here on your next adventure in this area!

Another Great Stay on Sylamore Creek We stayed at Sylamore Creek Camp July 3–6, in site 25. The pull-through spot made it easy to drop the camper and get set up quickly, which we really appreciated after a long drive. We did run into some electrical issues with the 30-amp hookup, but the staff was fantastic—quick to respond and very helpful. They explained that the campground had been flooded and all the poles had been rewired, which made sense. The 30-amp was showing reverse polarity, but they got us switched over to the 50-amp, and everything worked perfectly after that. The area by the White River could use a little grading and leveling—it’s a bit bumpy in places—but it wasn’t a huge problem for us. This was actually our second time staying here, and we keep coming back because the river is absolutely beautiful. It’s the perfect spot for paddle boarding or kayaking, and our dog had the time of his life splashing around. One thing to note: both times we’ve stayed, there were quite a lot of flies, so it’s a good idea to bring fly traps or repellents. Overall, we had another great experience. The staff’s friendliness and the gorgeous river make this a wonderful place to stay, and we’ll definitely be back again.

Honestly it was awful. They took out all the trees in the area designated to day use people so it is in the direct sun the entire time no shade and it is $2.50 a person for all ages so our 4 month old we had to pay for that didn’t even touch the rocks or water he literally sat in the basinet in the sun and we had to pay for that I understand charging for a certain age up but for infants that’s kinda crazy. We just expected better for what we paid I guess…

Showed up on a Saturday night at 9pm, they were closed (naturally) map looks like it was designed by a 12 year old with a website in size 9 aptos font in the top corner. In green and blue which are Analogous colors (very hard to differentiate late in the evening with no lights.) showed camp went by a honor system (as one would expect) which was WRONG. They expect you to be able to see this map in the middle of the night, see the tiny font in the corner and magically be able to pull up this website in the middle of nowhere. Went in the morning to pay to find out that they are NOT on the honor system and that we were supposed to be able to see this website on this map that looks like a 12 year old drew up in 10 mins. (My dog can do better) Anyways $45 for a night is INSANE for a tent when we stayed for $10 the place before. Also, showers have red and blue knobs but do not get warm. Weird rule in the bathroom that says no paper products in the toilets so you have to throw away your toilet paper? (Gross) Oh my favorite part tho is when the front desk lady went on a 20 min rant about Elon musk and how he fired all the government workers LMAO. Looks like they live here. Right behind the front building is giving junkyard imo. I’ll give them ONE thing and it’s the fact the water and power worked. The amount of signs and rules everywhere tell me the owner is on an absolutely CRAZY power trip. “yOu tOok uP rOoM tHaT sOmEbOdY eLsE cOuLdVe uSeD” yeah wow 6 of your 20 campsites are taken crazy. Must be hurting bad for money

The only complaint I have is that the sites seem a little small & crammed together too much, but other than that, the place is very nice. Although, my husband didn't like the fact that we could hear all the traffic from the highway nearby. However, the staff was very nice & friendly, and the bathrooms & showers were clean & smelled wonderful. We had a nice time camping. Would recommend this place.

We just stayed here and it was great! We had family camping the night before we got there and we were able to get checked in so we could visit with them before it was time to get into our cabin. There was a minor hiccup but the owners quickly helped going above and beyond. I just read a review from last week about the bathrooms that makes me think they werent even at this campground??? The bathroom was clean, entirely enclosed building and even had a gas heater on the wall that could be used in the colder weather. The creek is right there, easy to launch kayaks, beautiful water. It is about 15min from Blanchard Springs, 10min to the middle of Mountain View, close to Ozark Folk Center.

Marissa is incredibly rude. The campground failed to disclose they were under a no burn order, something we only determined by looking at other recreation sites in the region. I called not more then five minutes after booking and she refused ot do anything about it. She also wouldnt tell me when the owner would be there. Garbage service, which is a shame since I stayed there last year and found the creek very pretty. However, their rest room facilities amount to a handful of porto johns and a glorfied open air shed with exposed PVC pipe running to a shower head, so I would only plan on using it in the cold if you are okay with your extremities falling off.

Just returned from a trip to Sylamore Creek Camp. It was amazing! First off, the staff was super friendly! We got there right after the office closed and one staff member happily stayed late just to get us checked in. The entire camp ground was clean-including the bathrooms, which even our 9 year old noticed were very clean! The rec room was fun and very cold! The creek is crystal clear and is definitely a very cool way to beat the summer heat. We did the 20 mile float trip through them (they have the best pricing) and the shuttle driver was super helpful and friendly. It's a beautiful float-we even saw river otters! The location is perfect. It is only about 5 miles from a town with a Walmart (for those items you may have forgotten) and also only about 5-10 miles to Blanchard Springs Rec Center-which was also worth the visit! Quality firewood with great pricing. We look forward to returning when we are in Arkansas again.

The new owners of this establishment are great

Nice small campground. Only reason I don't give five stars is they don't give any type of discount for seniors or military.

We loved this campground!! We stayed at Site F, it is very spacious and has a lot of privacy. We extended our stay and had to move site to site 21 next to the creek, it is so beautiful and magical !! The kids had great time swimming, kayaking and playing around. The staff and the owner were very nice and helped with everything we needed. There is so much to do in this area; hiking, fishing, Visit Calico Rock, Mountain view and the unique folk center state park. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Love love love! We’ve stayed in the large cabins several times & enjoyed ourselves each time. Just sitting on the back porch watching nature is one of our favorite things to do. We’ve seen eagles 🦅 diving in the creek to feed her young, hundreds of butterflies 🦋 and more! Kayaking the creek is our absolute fav. The water is so clear you can see schools of fish right by you! Will be returning soon... hopefully tomorrow! Thanks Sylamore Creek Camp for this gem 💎! PS yes there are rules...there has to be! Be respectful & follow them for your own safety & to keep the natural ambience for all.
