Some clarification is needed. Riverview campground is next to the football field above the dam. Nice place no drive through sites

Great place to camp overnight full amenities plus a pond to fish trout with a waterfalls to catch brown trout across the street. Bring bicycle and kayak too!

Sylvan Park in Lanesboro MN is nicely wooded and landscaped. It features a small lake, clean restrooms, a bandstand, playground, and picnic pavilion. There is also a campground with space for 20 RVs or tents. Electricity (20 & 30 amp) is provided. Camping costs $40 a night. The location is within walking distance of downtown. The public library is also in the park, and appears to provide public showers. To the south of the park is the K-12 school building, and tennis courts. Also within walking distance is the Root River Scenic Bike trail.

Super quite and peaceful, as close to nature as possible but still wanna be in town

Cute little waterfall and a small rv and camping site above the waterfall. Also behind a high school.

A beautiful park in a picturesque SE Minnesota town. It just so happens to be where my mom grew up. I love coming back here.

Nice park with many activities happening there throughout the summer. My grandkids love the play area. Waterfalls across the street is very pretty. There is a nice pond, many picnic shelters, gazebo and a small library right next to it. There is a good sized parking lot.

Such a fun place for the kids to play. We are from Wichita KS but are visiting family. Lanesboro is so cute in a beautiful location between the bluffs. The park had things for my two children ages 9-9months!

The park and campground are very nice, well-maintained and super affordable. Has many sites for tent camping as well as hookups for campers. Having public restrooms with showers is certainly a bonus too. Excellent for rainbow trout fishing. We will absolutely camp here again! Only downside is they are constructing a new school right next door to the campground and we were woken up two mornings at 6:45 am, not the campgrounds fault by any means, but we look forward to staying again once the construction is finished.
