Table Rock Lake - COE/Cricket Creek

Overview

Cricket Creek Campground offers a serene lakeside escape managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the southern shores of Table Rock Lake. Located near Omaha, Arkansas, this park serves as a peaceful gateway to the Ozark Mountains. Visitors enjoy a blend of natural beauty and convenient access to one of the region's most popular waterways, making it a reliable choice for a relaxing outdoor vacation.

Location & Surroundings

Situated right on the Arkansas-Missouri border, the park is surrounded by lush hardwood forests and the sprawling, clear waters of Table Rock Lake. The terrain is typical of the Ozarks, providing a mix of shaded sites and scenic vistas. Its unique position on the southern end of the lake allows for a quieter atmosphere compared to the high-traffic tourist areas located further north near the dam.

Amenities & Park Features

The park features well-maintained campsites primarily equipped with electric hookups, accommodating both travel trailers and motorized RVs. While full hookups are not provided, guests have access to a convenient on-site dump station and multiple fresh water fill-up points. Essential facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, and a playground for children. For water enthusiasts, the dedicated boat ramp and designated swimming beach are central highlights of the campground.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor recreation is the primary draw here, with world-class bass fishing and various boating activities available right at your doorstep. Just a short drive north, the bustling entertainment district of Branson, Missouri offers famous live shows, shopping, and theme parks like Silver Dollar City. Nature lovers can also explore the nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, which provides miles of pristine hiking and biking trails.

This is a lovely COE campground that is high enough off the lake that camp sites will not flood, allowing it to stay open when some must close. The sites are large and most have plenty of shade.

Beautiful park! The bathrooms could use a little more cleaning but not too bad.

Beautiful campsites and marina. The beach was closed due to recent flooding.

We enjoyed our stay.Host was amazing.campground itself could use some upgrades.roads and sites could use paving and leveling.Would have been better if they could cut some of the underbrush so you could see water and a beautiful sunset. We would stay there again though.
