It was $5 to get in and they have an auto debit/credit machine to take cards only, no cash. We were very impressed with all of the facilities and ended up fishing by where people park their boat trailers. Didn't catch any fish that day, but it was 13:00 before we got there. 😉 Next time we'll bring an RV and fish from the RV hookup slots side. Can't recommend this hidden gem enough. 5/5 😀

We love the campground. It is neat and clean. Now, if I could just catch some big fish.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Each spot is really nice by the water. Rv hookup water and electric are available.

Very nice park. Almost all the sites are near the water. There is plenty of room between sites. It is very quiet. Best of any COE or state park campground I've ever been to.

Very odd that it doesn’t not open until April 1, but multiple hosts can stay there ahead of that. Host was rather rude. Sites did look very nice.

One of the best camping areas I gave been in the ozarks. Clean, safe, great for little kids. We have gone here several times as a family and in groups. Tenting and campers.

Wonderful fishing area. Great shore access in shaded areas that aren't a long hike from the parking lot. Public restrooms are available and access to the entire area is only five dollars. We caught a few tiny bluegill but conditions were far from ideal. With the water so high there is plenty of cover for fish, and plenty of snags if you're not careful. Only five minutes from Kimberling City, so there is no excuse to not check this out.
