Great campground on the river. Close to Truckee and Tahoe City. Campsite was large with good shade trees. Bear box was plenty big enough. Would recommend. Host on site.

This is a solid 2 star for a service Campground. They have water but it's not portable must be boiled. They have toilets but their pit toilets. They have trash but no recycling. It's next to a river but the access isn't great and there's slow moving Rapids next to it so it's not ideal for kid play. It's also close to the highway so you hear road noise consistently all the time. It's $30 though and easy to get a site during peak season midweek. This is the perfect option during peak season when there's no other options.

I love this campground so much. The host has been here for over a decade does his job wonderfully. The campground and bathrooms are always kept clean and ready

Campground 11 is very good compared to others. Very clean place right next to the river. Safeway and starbucks 5 mins away from the campground
