The campsite has a very convenient location right off the freeway, which makes getting here quick and easy, though it does come with some freeway noise, especially at night. On the plus side, gas stations and a few restaurants are only a short drive away. The best part of this site is the beautiful river running alongside it — peaceful, scenic, and a great spot to have fun in crystal clear water. Each campsite comes with limited parking, enough for only two cars, so if you are coming with a larger group, you may need to plan extra parking. There is a trail as well near to this. The host of the campsite also is available there. Overall, it’s a nice campsite but just because of freeway noise i give it a 4.

Haven’t been here since I was a child. Still one of my favorite swimming holes. Great eat for amateur rock climbing as well.

Nice place to take the family. Cleanish bathrooms considering ! Swimming whole, you can bring dirt bikes and ride up the road. Only thing I didn’t like was the train and traffic noise at night

Good staging area for off roading and climbing. Good access to river to cool down on summer days. DO NOT spend the night at campground. Extremely close to the interstate you will hear constant very loud traffic noise.

Drove in on a Wed late evening as we were driving through on I-80. There were only a couple other campers on site, but we were surprised to see many campsites were reserved for the weekend even in mid October. We parked in site #17, got plenty of room around our truck camper. Nice campground overall but as many other reviewers said, the noise from I-80 and the train were surprisingly loud. We can hear it even inside a well insulated camper. Luckily, it didn't disturb our sleep too much.
