My wife Lynne and I just finished a week at Sardine Lake Resort and it was one of the most relaxing vacation we have had in our 46 years marriage. I realized this week I started coming up here 5 4 years ago with my parents. We brought our 3 kids up here while they were growing up. Now that they are all grown up we came back again, just the 2 of us. The resort has not changed. The scenery, the lake while fishing, the log cabin where we stayed and the dinners at the lodge were just outstanding. Everyone associated with the resort was so friendly and helpful to deal with. We hope to make this an annual vacation each year again. Besides fishing and walks with my wife I managed to read 2 books totalling about 600 pages, the most reading since college 47 years ago. Been going here every year since I was a baby. This place is a hidden gem in the Sierra's with an amazing view of the Sierra Buttes. They have good fishing and boat rental prices are reasonable. Unfortunately I haven't been able to stay IN their cabins for several years because they are usually always booked up, but I go camping in the area and always come here to fish and relax.
