We stayed 8.15.24, no campfires allowed at this time. Campsites are good size, and both Campsites & bathrooms were clean. Lots of tree coverage and you can hear road noise from Hwy 20. $24 a night 1/2 off with senior pass.

Must have passed this place a hundred times over the years en route to Lake Tahoe. Finally made White Cloud the destination instead and had a great two-day stay. Close to Nevada City and a great swimming hole.

Campsites themselves are very nice but this is the loudest campground I've ever stayed at. Had to leave after one night cause of the trucks going up and down the hill, got no sleep. During the day there are helicopters flying over head. Seems like a good place to stop if you are traveling though

Loved our weekend at this campground. Beautiful trees, site’s space was good. First night was fantastic- quiet and peaceful. Second night had a group of 12 move into the spaces next to us and they were up until 1am. Normally, I don’t mind folks enjoying their time, but several were very loud and obnoxious, it was a bit disruptive. Camp host did not seem to mind, however. Overall a great spot!! Bathroom kept clean, camp host came around several times during the day.

White Cloud campgrounds s the most beautiful place for camping in my opinion. I highly recommend that if you have never been there, go there. It's easily accessible and a very friendly place to have fun, meet new friends and be yourself. I truly love white Cloud. Nevada City, CA. It's worth the wait.

Loads and loads of spiders. Also there's a few bees nests so there's a million bees. Our campervan got swarmed. Pit toilets. There was a beautiful dog named Wynona, that stayed with us at our campsite all night. She's the best part about the campsite. We went to the camp host to see if it was theirs, but they weren't there. We were going to bring her to a vet but after looking half the day we couldn't find her, and we had to go.

Spent a good 4 days here.

Nice campground with nice privacy between sites, and unusual camp stoves. Would love to cook a mess of flapjacks on one of these..

The host is great plenty of firewood and water close. Little town of Washington around the corner and Nevada City not bad drive. Road noise doesn’t last long not many late drivers. Quiet time is 10 pm and she’s on it. The bad thing I can say is the bees need for water. I was stung 3 times. Otherwise you can have a fire move your picnic table park an rv and set up lots of tents. These camp spots are the biggest I’ve ever camped at. Scott’s flat lake is 10 dollars more a night and you have to pay for a shower and additional cars. FYI.
