Staying here now. So happy that fire and all this stuff with smog not allowed. So so happy about that. Hate campfires and smog from it. It is a bit loud due to very disrespectful people around. They are very loud and music also very loud. Otherwise everything is good

I spent the entire summer in this campground. Amazing people amazing campground. Just follow the rules and don't be stupid and you'll have a great stay. Can get loud on weekends but other than that quite nice. The owners went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay multiple times. Highly recommend!

A decent campground, but I think it's one of those "it'll do" kind of campgrounds. The price is a bit high, privacy is a bit low, and it doesn't feel overly 'rustic', in my opinion. Just a standard commercial campground. However, that being said, it is in the beautiful Tahoe National Forest and I definitely don't want to give the impression it doesn't provide the potential for an enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a spot for a group to spend time on the water during the day, then camp and grill out in the evening, it's probably going to be a great choice. As someone usually looking for the 'great outdoors' feel, I wouldn't put it at the top of my list, but I also would absolutely consider a return stop there if I'm in the area and looking for a place to put up the tent.
