Very small space no room to cook out we had no picnic table although other spaces did have them. Clean bathroom with good hot water. Easy walk to everything. Big NO is the train line immediately behind and they blow the horns in the middle of the night.

Great location! Easy to bike to downtown. RV spots were nice as were bathrooms/showers.

Tightly packed, gravel lot RV sites. Our site has water and electric hook-ups only. The wifi is free and there is AT&T phone signal. My only complaints which is aggravating and cannot be helped, is the rumbling and roaring sound of the train engine, at least 3 times last night and few times this morning since this RV park is situated beside Hurricane Turn train depot. One star for the noise and 5 stars for the RV location which is walking distance to town.

A fair location bathrooms were fine. The paid shower didn't work easily and end up paying twice. A basic service location.

Talkeetna RV Park in Talkeetna, Alaska, is a small campground with 35 tightly packed sites next to noisy train tracks. The biggest issue was the bathrooms and showers, which weren’t terrible but clearly lacked proper cleaning and attention. On the positive side, it’s an easy walk to town and close to the airport for Denali flight tours. Overall, it’s an average spot that could use better upkeep.

We camped at Talkeetna Camper Park for three nights with our Class C RV and appreciated all the facilities (electric, water, dump-station, toilets, showers, laundry and wireless internet). Also used the community fire-pit a couple evenings. The location is also a short walk from downtown Talkeetna which has some great restaurants, stores and a nice river front with a view of Denali (on a clear day). Highly recommend.

A great place to stay and a short walk into town! Clean bathrooms but didnt shower as that cost a couple bucks. Laundry room was appropriate. Level RV spaces. Unfortunately there is a train that rolls through sometimes fairly close to the campground but that didnt have much of an impact on my stay. 10/10

Talkeetna camper park was quite adventurous, lots of side trails and spectacular scenery and views. This town is location at the end of a 14 mile road of the Talkeetna spur highway. We stopped by one of the local shops where we purchased spinach bread that was recommended by a local here and it was amazing. Waiting on our turn to fly out to Mount Denali at 20k feet plus hoping for great weather to land on the side of the Denali mountain.

Overall a great two night stay. The staff was extremely friendly. It’s close walk to town. Talkeetna is a must stop in my opinion for any Alaska trip. Check out the Denali Brewery in town. Great food and service. I agree with other comments about the shower. There’s no place to sit to dress. Yes, the train is close, for me that adds to the charm.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially since we arrived without a reservation and the park was pretty much full. They squeezed us into a “dry” site beside the office building for a couple nights, with access to power (and water if your hose is long enough). Sites were well maintained and there is a dump & potable water station for guests to use. It’s right next to the train tracks, which might bother some but I liked being able to see (and hear) the trains coming and going.

Great little RV park in Talkeetna. We showed up after hours without a reservation but they have an info board letting you know what sites you can use. You can then pay cash in an envelope or come to the office when they open.

Good nights sleep, priced too high for a site with no water or electric hookup.
