We stayed in a yurt and some or our other family stayed in a cabin and across from them, an RV. There are only 2 yurts and they’re both at the end of the property that backs up to some private property who have roosters and a large dog. You may not see them, but you will absolutely hear them. It’s also rather dark at that end and could use some additional lighting on the pathway. You might think my biggest critique is that the pool was inoperable for our entire August vacation, but luckily, there were a lot of other water activities nearby to stay cool. My biggest gripe was the sewer dump station’s location. In order to get to the bathrooms on the north end, which is situated near the yurts, you not only have to walk past four huge industrial size garbage bins, but the sewer dump site is within 20/30 feet of the bathrooms. The first thing most people do in the morning is go to the restroom, and I tell you what, smelling feces first thing in the morning was not a pleasant way to start the day, or end it. I would not suggest staying in a yurt here or reserving RV space that is anything north of the dump station, period. It may be a little closer, but that smell doesn’t go away just because you do. Enduring that smell multiple times a day… Especially first thing in the morning and last thing before sleeping id just not worth the short trip to the bathrooms. On the up side, the area is beautiful. You’re only about 25 minutes from Redmond but you feel like your worlds away. I would definitely stay here again, but only on the south side of the park with a functioning pool.

I left this campground angry. It seems many others have before me as well. We were told we had a 50 amp site, but upon arrival (during an excessive heat warning mind you) that there weren't any 50 amps sites available. We need the 50 amps to cool our rig for pets and small children and were relying on that. Without it we had no choice but to leave and find another campground with a 40 ft rig on the same day. After calling all of the campgrounds in the area we were lucky to find one 45 minutes away. Shameless. We were expecting issues from tall chief based on the reviews but we didn't even make it through the gate without having problems.

My children and grandchildren were soooo excited for our only chance to go camping together this summer. THE POOL is what stands out when you see this spot online. Turns out, the pool has not been open all summer. Summer is almost over. Why was this still advertised? My family was heartbroken 💔 We got our suits on, sunscreen, water, beach towels and as we were walking to the pool, a fellow camper had to tell us the pool was closed. We tented it there and I would like a refund. We left a day early as well. We, of course, enjoyed ourselves being together but the FALSE ADVERTISEMENT is Unacceptable, Misleading, or simply put...Lying. This really pis... me off. I want a refund.

We booked Tall Chief 4 months before our stay, get to the campground to find out pool is closed, only 2 showers working and only 1 sink working in men’s bathroom. The worst part was the “dump” area, to say it was gross is an understatement, people were just dumping their sewage anywhere forget using hoses every one you could screw your hose in was busted. We left a day early because why stay? I don’t like standing in line to shower. With all of that I will say we had a great site, private and shady. I would not invest in the membership after this experience.

Stayed here 4 nights . Park itself has a good layout and the way the sites are set up give you privacy even if you have neighbors. The park employees were nice and helpful. Hook ups - 30amp only with no sewer. The weather proof box that held our power hookup had a door that swung open from the side rather than lifted and because of our 50 to 30 adapter the door would not close. Not a huge deal but it's Washington and it rains alot. This could cause power issues as the box with the open door is not water resistant. Furthermore they have no wifi or cable hookup. Bathrooms/shower - they have various bathroom/shower/ clubhouses scattered throughout the property. They are open from 11am - 7pm in a campground with no sewer connections. All in all it's good for a couple nights just to check out the area but I wouldn't plan a long term stay . To end on a bright note they do provide you with a cheat sheet that has some common RV items and there wattage/amp draw.

Really cool , no frills place. Would be perfect with full hook ups!

We stayed here during my travel nursing assignment. It was a nice place to stay to accommodate long stays. We paid month to month. Hot showers but they are very dated. The workers clean them from 11-1p.m. Their is a pool but it was rarely open, when it finally opened it required a reservation. We were here for 21 weeks total. We recommend not relying on using the laundry unless you do it on a weekday. We often tried to do it on a Sunday and people would leave their laundry in there for hours. We ended up resorting to asking the rangers if we could take it out if it had been longer than 45 minutes. We felt bad that we had to do this but we lived here full time and laundry closed at 5p.m. They were very accommodating to letting us change our site whenever we needed to. Their is also a big grass area for dogs to go to the bathroom. We wished there was a fenced doggy area. We overall enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. The things that were bothersome were miniscule in comparison to how much we enjoyed our time here. Lots of privacy between sites with trees that provide shade!

Stayed: 2021-08-29 to 2021-09-07 “Recommended!” We recommend Tall Chief! 👌 Check-in was seemless, all paperwork ready when we were greeted by friendly staff at the ranger staff. Sites were gravel, wide and for the most part quite private. We scouted our site for our site easily, it's helpful that big rig sites are labeled reserved for 36' and over. All facilities were clean including pool, rec room, laundry and restrooms. The mini golf and playground were popular with families and kids. The team communicated well with us and did a marvelous job, thank you!

We thuroughly enjoyed this RV resort. We traveled with 3 small children and there was so much to do. The first come first served sites are a double edge sword if you arrive late, so try and get there early. They have pool table, pool, sauna, mini golf, playground, and so much more. The hot tub was out of order. We went every three days for the free on site dump station with no issues. I will definitely be back! Also to note the rangers here are so very friendly and helpful, you can tell they enjoy their jobs!
