We had an absolutely wonderful two-week stay! This place is truly beautiful—the grounds are impeccably maintained. The grass at each site is soft and something I haven't seen. We visited the on-site bar, Owl's Landing, which consistently delivered fantastic food and perfectly cold drinks. Highly recommend coming here.

Beautiful resort with multiple pools, fire pits and a great beer selection! The new Owl Landing area is amazing! The pool and grill are excellent and it’s such a great spot to hang out, have a bite and enjoy the north Georgia mountains. The fire pit is huge and makes for a great spot to meet folks and enjoy the sunsets!

We recently stayed at Talona Ridge RV Resort in Ellijay, GA and were blown away by the views—they are truly outstanding. The property itself is first-class, with clean grounds, beautiful facilities, and plenty of amenities. We especially enjoyed the pickleball courts, and the check-in staff were extremely helpful, even escorting us to our spot. That said, if you have kids, this may not be the best option. We came for fall break so our kids could play, ride bikes and scooters, and swim, but the strict 7 mph speed limit for bikes, carts, and scooters made it very challenging. Even slightly over that limit results in reports to staff, and while many older guests seemed to ride faster without issue, the rules didn’t feel equally enforced. Our kids ended up having to give up their bikes, and we decided to leave a day early. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway and don’t have active kids in tow, Talona Ridge is fantastic. But for families wanting to let their kids play freely, be aware that the rules are very strict and enforcement can be heavy-handed even threatened to be kicked out.

We just stayed at Talona for our second time. Both times we stayed on the Eagle Crest level, some sites offer better views than others (as expected), all the sites are perfectly fine to us. When we travel we stay at RV Resorts when available, this resort is at the top of our list! We find the views wonderful, the amenities are very well kept, we have had no issues with wifi, love the location as we like to visit Blue Ridge as well as Ellijay (visit the speakeasy at The Door, very nice). Our two favorite wineries are Ott and Roo giving Roo the edge. Pickleball is rather hit and miss depending on who is staying at the resort (understandable). If that is your thing the local civic center maybe 10 minutes away has a lot of play every day at 5pm. The location of the park is awesome for us, with chain restaurants and shopping at your doorstep, and local flare minutes away. Had the chance to play some pb with the owners, they were very nice people and very concerned that we enjoyed our stay. Very nice people, very nice resort. We will be back!

We’ve been to Talona Ridge 4 times now. It’s has always been great. They have expanded their amenities to include a second pool and restaurant with an attached pavilion. The sites are spacious. The grounds always in great condition. The staff is truly friendly. We will continue to come back. You won’t go wrong staying here in your RV.
