Marty and Connie were great hosts! They were friendly and welcoming, very organized, and very helpful. This was a great improvement from the last time we came to this site, which was also our first time. There were no hosts, there were issued with reservations, the sites were dirty, and the toilets were very gross. We did not want to go back but are glad we did, thanks to Marty and Connie.

Really nice campground, very close to the river with lots of spots to either swim or fish. Keep your food safe at night though, I will woke up and some critters actually opened my cooler bag and got to my hot dog buns lol. $17 a night for a single spot.

Absolutely incredible BC Rec Site. It's huge, 102 sites total between the two areas, and more across the road I believe, most sites are very private and spacious. It's like camping in an inland rainforest along the river. Many points of access to small "private" beaches from the trans Canada Trail that runs along side. $17/night, no services, camp hosts were great. Firewood for sale on site. Many outhouses available. I left a private "campground" down the road to come here, I should have come here first. Minimal (flaky) cell service if that matters to you.

Not bad for 17$ a night. No hook ups Peaceful and pretty, good spot to bring your toys.. but watch out, if you have a friend visit the host is on you like white on rice for 10$ from them just to park.. even if they are there for 3 minutes to drop something off.. little rediculous. Get your visitors to park across the road it's free.

Fantastic Provincial Campground. At my site, overlooking the Chilliwack River I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. rafting tours , fishing, if you blink you will miss something. Camp Hosts are very nice. The bikers and Quadders are quite respectful and courteous. If you love bare bones camping then this is your place.

Just spent a wonderful and relaxing couple nights here. Our first time. Matt the host was so accommodating and great to chat with. Even fixed our bumper for us!. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Kids loved it. Water was a bit cold, but they like a challenge!. Good memories made. Thanks again! See you next year.

Still the same after 20 years. Trees have gotten bigger, roads and bridges are still stable, for dirt. Camping stalls look clean, vary quite, and patrolled by park officials. Grab a fishing license and cast away (catch & release) just be careful around the river because it can sweep you away

Absolutely amazing experience. After arriving Thursday and spending 3 hours in the pouring rain setting up our campsite, mine and my friends tent started to flood from the rain streaming down. We met two very kind people who helped us gather our site up and move it to a better spot for the night. Their kindness continued throughout the weekend, and my friend and I deemed them our honorary camping grandparents. We wouldn’t have stayed if it wasn't for them, and we are SO glad we did. Everybody we met this weekend was friendly and it made our experience just that much better. The hosts were also very kind hearted and were there to help whenever needed. We cannot wait to return to our new annual camping spot :)

My only issue with staying here is the sites are really close together. It's a beautiful location, fairly close to town and the river. There are rapids behind one side of the campsite, so definitely not safe for swimming, but it's fun to see the rafters go by. The host is nice and the campground is clean. There are a few outhouses. This is Tamihi East.

Loved this rec site! Gorgeous creek, awesome walking trails and close enough to some top up groceries. Our family stayed there one week and wanted to book a few more days since it was so great. The host Gayle is an absolute sweetheart.
