Five star location on the lake! We stayed for three nights and thought it was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will be returning soon. I wish summer never ended!

We just left Taw Caw today. We were very impressed with everything. They are making improvements to the campground. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. It is a nice quiet campground which seems to cater to families and retirees. Since my husband and I are retired, it was the perfect place for us. There are many who stay year-round but still plenty of available spots. We have family nearby so that was a definite advantage.

Enjoyed it! Staff and campers were polite. Seemed like a good place to go as a newbie or veteran camper/rv'er/boater.

The location is gorgeous. The owners and some long term guests treat you like unwelcomed garbage. No exaggeration, my family has never seen a campground that was so nit picky. It would be different if people were actually doing anything wrong, but when every innocent thing you do is picked apart it tends to make you wish you were anywhere else, sadly. We brought our kids thinking, "man this is so beautiful" only to be treated like scum. And I see it wasnt just us based on these reviews, wish we would have read these before wasting our money there.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! We came to camp, fish, swim and grill for the 4th of July, there is only one dock and a 50 foot shore line to fish right where the boats come in and out all day so don't think your going to catch anything, you can't smoke while you fish, or grill some hotdogs, there is also a super Karen that runs around telling you can't do this or can't do that like WHAT WE CAME HERE TO DO. LIKE FISH SWIM And GRILL SOME FOOD SMDH, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO JUST BRING YOUR CAMPER AND STAY INSIDE THE WHOLE TIME THEN YOU'RE GOOD BUT IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO CAMP AND HAVE A GOOD TIME YOU'RE SCREWED!!! AND ALL MY YEARS OF GOING TO THE LAKE TO CAMP I'VE NEVER SEEN A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN'T FISH AND GRILL OR EVEN SMOKE A CIGARETTE, IF YOU'RE 90 AND JUST WANT TO GO TO THE LAKE TO SIT IN YOUR CAMPER OR SIT IN A CHAIR IN FRONT OF YOUR CAMPER AND DON'T MIND A KAREN RUNNING AROUND TELLING YOU CAN'T DO THAT THEN COME HERE. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. YOU'D HAVE A BETTER TIME AT A MUD PUDDLE IN A WAFFLE HOUSE PARKING LOT!
