Update to my review after business replied Oct 25th: Mgr responded "I can leave if I want", and that construction end date is Nov, but texts say "at least to December" on Oct 22nd. THIS is why residents don't speak up. OP: This place has me constantly struggling between driving elsewhere to escape the noise, or staying cozy in my pjs in my camper wearing earplugs to block out the constant, 7 days a week heavy machinery banging, clattering, engine running just a few feet behind a row of 30 campers. Its just nerve rattling and the ground shakes sometimes too. Using the guest clubhouse to work isn't possible on weekends, bc the manager says her children use it, bc they are at work with her. There's nowhere else to go to escape the construction, besides the showers or laundry room. The lots are $825, same with/without sewer, with/without construction. In other campgrounds in the area, it's from $475-650, some with more amenities. Only Bardstown was more expensive at astronomical $950 a month for long term. The manager says the construction has been an ongoing project for 6 months, with an unknown end. None of the residents on this side appreciate how it's being handled. One older gentleman tried to speak to previous mgr Missy about the construction, and she made him feel like she would have him removed for starting trouble (his words). Maybe that's why she isn't manager anymore. I literally have to get in my car, leave my camper, drive to the lake somewhere, and work in my car just to get peace and quiet. Some of the other lots in different areas of the park don't have this construction issue, but they're full of permanent residents and will never be available. The only other lots are itty bitty down on the pond, tightly packed, lots of people's noises in the tiny spaces next to each other. They should be giving a discount on the high rates for affected residents, who have to carry our poop down the hill in containers to dump, as a gesture of goodwill, or even pausing construction 1 day out of 7, like Sundays, to give residents a rest. Sadly, it's begun to feel like it's just a pay up, put up with it, or leave mentality. Some of the permanent residents say that the prices went up when the nearby state lake park closed and now this place has the short term weekend lake goers, and the rates went up. I've been here 2 months. It's pretty and quiet...when the machinery isn't running from sunup to sundown 7 days a week, and residents should be able to use the clubhouse too. Now, I'm kind of getting the same attitudes from the new manager as the first one (defensiveness if residents complainn), and this place is packed with people who are paying very high prices and afraid to say anything, bc theres only 7 campgrounds around Louisville. Let's see if I get in trouble for posting this review. All of this when my initial impression was of caring about keeping residents, providing a clubhouse for everyone, charging fair rates for the conditions the residents live in. Other than that, this place is mostly well maintained, not alot of facilities, but a pretty new fire pit of stones was just laid out. Most of the residents on this side are peaceful and kind. One lady is a busy body and residents avoid her. One issue frequently discussed amongst the residents is the yapping barking dogs. There's tensions about this in their cliques. One resident said he has gotten in trouble for his barking dogs, and for keeping animals outside unattended, but one other neighbor has never, and he felt that was unfair. I don't have dogs, so I can't attest to how dog friendly this place is. But there are a lot of dogs here, and residents are great about picking up the poop. I don't play into their cliques and politics. I just listen, smile, and work on my gardening. This place is a really beautiful property, so it got 3 stars. (Now 2, after passive aggressive bznz reply). I would've given 5 if not for the high rates and construction. I'll update this review if I face backlash like some of the longer term residents described under the previous mgmt.

I can't say enough about this park the team that keeps it running are some of the hardest working people I've ever met. they throw us holiday barbecues and keep the Park immaculate. The-lots are spacious with beautiful grass. the most beautiful Pond for catching release fishing , Two of the cutest goats I've ever seen named Tom and Jerry .the bath houses are clean the laundromat is new and a beautiful play area for children, And a lovely dog park for your fur babies. The wildlife here go without saying we have deer geese rabbits turtles , A beautiful water crane lots of birdsand three of the cutest groundhogs that have been on the property for a long time. I'm very proud to call this place Home this park has changed my outlook on the RV life. My husband and I could not be happier here. We are so excited about the new full hook ups being put in it has been a long road we moved here in April and was told they would be done soon although things happen inspections take time although I think a better construction company would've been the way to go it's all good we love it here and are excited to see the construction come to an end the noise is music to my ears it means we are getting closer to the end of having our full hook ups and all noises conducted during normal business hours are quiet time here is 10 PM to 8 AM and midnight to 8 AM on the weekends. just can't please everybody but I would like to say thank you to the owners for doing a wonderful job with the park and to Laura for Doing a great job taking care of all of us. The most awesome thing about living in an RV is if you're not happy where you are you can leave. But trust and believe you're not gonna find a park anything like the Taylorsville Rv Park Anywhere close. sincerely Mr. and Mrs. Coole

What a great place! Missy and her team treated our group like gold, and the park was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

It's alright really, a little pricey, not very big, still a work in progress, but never actually crowded and always chill. They have a nice pond, boat storage and even have Internet thru most of it. The only negatives I've seen is this one lady likes to scream at people instead of not being lazy and actually talking to people and using her words to explain what's wrong. At least it's close to the lake.

We had the best time! Staff is amazing! Cookout was a surprise bonus! We gave the putt putt a go. We laughed so hard. We hadnt played in awhile and it was evident. Restrooms were clean and tended to. The boys in our group really enjoyed the fishing!! Affordable and will definitely stay there again!
