Highly recommend not booking online or over the phone. Campground was quick to book us in after assuring us they would have various sites suited to our length and requirements. Upon arrival, they did not, and after trying six sites they refused a refund even though it was their own deficiency on assuring us they could accommodate us and then being unable to do so. We booked a campsite with online inquiries and phone conversations. We were looking to stay one night and leave the vehicle hooked up to the trailer as we would be leaving early in the morning. The person in charge of the booking and managing the campground was made aware of our total length, and reassured us they had many sites that would work. Upon arrival, we were given two sites to choose from. One site was blocked by a tree at the corner of the site, which other people had previously hit and damaged the tree and I'm assuming their unit. It made it impossible to use this site due to the tree and permanent residents having a shed, vehicle, and boat trailer encroaching on the road space. Even after the full-time resident moved their vehicle, the tight angle, multiple items being parked on the sides/ encroaching the road space and the trees at the corner of the site made it impossible to access this site, or use the other site we were offered - which was across the road and next to the boat trailer/shed/vehicle fiasco. We attempted to access these sites various times with no luck due to all of the above. We were then kindly directed to another site which the host assured us we would fit no problem. Unfortunately due to the limited length and angle of this site, it was still not long enough or accessible. The host then kindly offered three other sites. Again, those were either too short and/or too uneven to safely accommodate the truck and trailer. The host then got snotty saying "I parked my unit there for a year, it was fine" in reference to one of the sites. They then told us their unit was 10ft shorter than ours. We said that even then, there was no way they would make those spots unless they drove around the campsite backwards. They admitted that they had done this. We understand there is a no refund policy, but we kindly asked for them to consider this. Considering we were offered six sites, none worked, and they were full aware of our length and requirements beforehand. We were refused a refund. This honestly ruined the end of our camping trip and I would highly recommend not doing any booking online or over the phone due to the overall situation and the fact that they will not offer a refund for their shortcomings.

We didn't stay here. We drove to Bauza Cove. But looked around the lovely, forested campground, protected from the elements, with full and partial services. Stopped in to meet the campground attendant and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. Will come back to camp soon.

This campground ⛺️ was recommended as it is next door to the Waters edge kayaking tour. The call managers were nice. The space I got had nj shade or trees 🌲. There are showers, very basic. But for one night it is just fine to stay.

The downtow portion of Telegraph Cove is quaint and very sweet. However, I found the campground experience to be the complete opposite. The Forest campground houses many permanent or long term residents which gives a different feel to camping. The managers were lovely and accommodating allowing me to move from my original site however overall I found that the Forest campground wasn’t the type of camping I was looking for. I was originally placed in between a site that had two tarp covered broken down trailers and a camper with a lot of garbage and broken items surrounding. The camper was also covered with a tarp and had a sewer hose dumping waste directly onto the ground. Across from my site was an older RV in which the lights had been left on flashing all day. The manager moved me to the other side of the campground which was kind, the site was small, had full services and a picnic table but still wasn’t what I had initially hoped for when I reserved what I felt was a fairly pricey site. I was looking for a private forest camping experience but was unable to find it at Telegraph Cove’s Forest Campground. I ended up leaving early and was not able to get any of my money refunded as they have a 30 day cancellation policy.

Terrible experience. Poor customer service. Reserved an RV site and campsite. The RV wouldnt fit on the site (even though it was a small 20ft). Most of the campground was occupied by “seasonal” residents and packed in close. Permanent shelters and lots of people. They refused to refund the site that was booked ahead of time for an RV stating it wasn’t their fault, they didn’t know the size of the RV! Again it was a 20ft motorhome!!

We got a spot close to the entrance of the campsite. No complaints. Sleeping with the sound of River(water flow) was so relaxing. Beautiful deep woods are icon of Telegraph Cove. Still walking distance to the town if you are without a car.
