Worst KOA experience I’ve had. The check-in lady had a poor attitude and seemed annoyed we were even there. Cabin had no privacy: no locks on bathroom doors, broken/missing curtains, and the “king” bed was definitely not a king. Rodents crawled out from under the cabin and ran over our feet while trying to use the fire pit. The pool area had no shade. Also, no clear info that Vail Lake is only accessible by foot or bike. We had to leave and pay extra to enjoy another lake. Total disappointment. Won’t be back.

Campground could be really terrific-but lacks those KOA standards one expects. Huge campground but no one personally directing you to your spot so it is everyone fending for themselves to pull in properly-spots are inconsistent (make sure to ask exactly what you are getting when you reserve it). Not level sites, some without any shade while others are in complete shade all day, some private while others are far less than private, small travel trailers were in huge spots while we were crammed in a very small site with a 40 ft motorhome. We found our stay less than peaceful; neighbors were allowed to take over several sites with children's electric toys, loud music, yelling children and even louder adults partying all day. Again, no privacy. Tried to walk about the park but found it difficult while dodging golf carts driven by inexperienced children and/or crazy electric bikers. No respect for not running, biking or walking with dogs through other campers sites even while they were outside. Fire pit was almost in the next campsite so we couldn't enjoy it. Staff at the front desk was less than helpful. There is a huge bar facility on site and also a cafe. Both looked nice but were empty. Great campground if this is your vibe. Think this could be an outstanding campground if rules were established and sites were assigned with some thought in mind.

I have an RV van 21’ long. It’s perfect but small. So I chose KOA’s for there restroom facilities. Mainly the showers. The restroom building at this KOA looked dilapidated. The sinks, toilet stall partitions were all rusted out. The shower stalls were tiled but not clean with no lighting. Did not use them. At the price we payed and not able to use the restroom facilities, I was not happy with our stay at this KOA. On a positive note. Other camping locations & restrooms buildings looked much better. Did not use those facilities because of lengthy walking. The amenities at this KOA looked wonderful and lots of things to do for Kids. I feel the staff should have warned us about the restroom facilities at this campsite location as we were checking in or I should have evaluated them before setting up my campsite for the night. There are two camping locations in this KOA that have these dilapidated restroom buildings. You have been advised!! See pictures for reality!

My family has been here twice and both times we have truly enjoyed our stay! The site spaces are amazing and spacious. All staff members at the front were friendly and helpful! The campground itself is clean and well maintained. We also brought our 2 dogs and they had a great time! The only suggestion we have is better maintenance in the bathrooms. My husband used to showers a few times and both times the drain was clogged. Otherwise, the bathrooms were clean and usable! We had a great experience and love how many activities there are to do on site!

We visit at least one or two times a year. Place is great. Live music 🎶 and activities. Fun for the entire family.

Live music, putt putt, 3 pools, a well stocked store, tent camping and RVs. Now on a busy weekend it is packed with RVs and it's essentially a neighborhood instead of camping but still lots of amenities so if you love RV trips then this place is a great choice, if you prefer camping in the woods and not seeing other people too often then this is not your place. I like it tho, perfect change of scenery for a quick car camping trip.

I'd love to stay there but for some reason I can't book online and they never answer the phone. I hear it's a nice place but I really wouldn't know.

Site #331. Very large and very noisy KOA Campground. Large groups gathered at many campsites partying. The weekend we were there, modified golf carts with big speakers were driving around all day and night. Very dusty. Restrooms were OK. I don’t think we would ever camp here again. Not a good fit for us.

This place is very nice, plenty of fun things for kids and adults. Very big campground with lots of room to wander around and see birds, trees, and surrounding hills. Trails for bicycles and hiking.
