Very good camping experience here. Sites are well organized, easy to get around, and the facilities were in good shape and clean. When I was biking across Newfoundland in the summer, this was a very popular spot for kids, so if kids running around and playing until 11 at night bothers you, make sure to select a site further from the main facilities!

Clean campground with nice bathrooms (hot water, good pressure, outlets, and hooks on the walls). Sites are cute but roads are gravel and no fire pits at sites. Convenient location sort of near the highway. I stayed in early June so there were no bugs thanks to the wind.

Beautiful campground with an excellent trail that connects to the Coastal Trail. Large, mostly private spaces. We had spacious site no. 65, but there are plenty of similar ones, like 80 at the end of a loop. Ample shower facilities and garbage disposal. One drawback: charcoal grilling was prohibited when we were there in late August 2024 due to an unspecified incident. And there were no fire pits, either. There’s something missing here!

We were only able to stay here a couple of nights, but it was a nice, quiet campground. We had a back in site, #256 with 3 services with 30-amp power. Sites were nice size and well spaced with trees between sites for privacy. Downgraded cleanliness since our site had litter about the entire site. Looked like an animal had gotten into a garbage bag and it wasn't cleaned up thoroughly. Nice hiking in the park. Easy access of the TCH.

This is a well maintained park with nice hot showers and clean bathrooms. We had this placed book to spend two nights in our roof top tent but after days of rain and dampness, we were able to take a break and stay in Parks Canada oTentik roof accommodation (thank you Lindsay for making this happened). Great staff, very pleasant and helpful. They also have a laundromat which helped us catch up on laundry and like all other Park Canada we have been to, a nice sheltered area with sinks and picnic tables inside. Thanks again Lindsay.

A great park to explore!! We had so much fun and will be back again - propane fire pit is a life saver to bring along here as there are no fire pits or wood fires allowed at individual sites and not that many community pits available

We didn't stay at the park this trip just a quick stop to the store. As always friendly staff but we didn't find what we were looking for. Maybe next time!
