Reading through other reviews we understood that they are very strict on their working hours. We made every effort to be on time and we reached on Saturday at 4:52PM and they were still closed. There were no updates on their websites or on Google as to why they are closed early or if they were open for business today at all. If you are like us and planning your travel in and around eating Cinnamon Buns from here, then DON’T !!

We stopped here because everyone said we needed to try the cinnamon rolls. They were so right. They are huge and they are delicious. The couple that run it are so nice. We bought several. We just finished one and tomorrow we will start the next one. This is a must stop.

Stopped today for the cinnamon buns. Heard they were good. When I went in my husband was walking our dog. He went up to the picnic tables to wait for me to come out to eat them. When I came out the older man owner was in my husbands face telling him to get the dog out of the picnic table area. Didn’t see any signs saying no dogs. Maybe we missed it. He’s an 8 year old service dog that is well mannered. The woman inside was very nice. May not be dog friendly.

Stopped here during trip on Alcan hoping for an overnight spot for our camper van. Gates closed, sign said open until 5, was 5:01 so ran to lodge in rain and knocked. We could see there were plenty of empty spaces. Woman said no we couldn’t stay there, they close at 5, go somewhere else. I was shocked - never been turned away from a campground with vacancies (or a hotel for that matter). Would have loved to buy gas, pay for campsite and buy cinnamon buns. Maybe the lady was having a bad day but she was extremely rude. They may have great cinnamon buns, but their customer service is terrible. Maybe stop for cinnamon buns up the road at Toad River Lodge instead.

Loved dropping in two years running. Best Cinnamon buns on the Alaska Highway. The taste and quality is amazing. The campsite and facilities were great. The opportunity to meet and great other travelers on the Alaska Highway was awesome. Keep up your awesomeness.

It is rustic and quaint. We stayed in cabin 5 and it was much larger than expected. It is an old log cabin, so it is slanted and old but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot. There was a gas stove and full fridge in the cabin. The kids had their own room, then there was a kitchen and booth table, then another room with a sitting area, TV , bad and washroom. This was a great stop on our way through the mountains. For the price, it was excellent. The hosts are down to earth and hard workers. They run a small cafe with delicious cinnamon buns and really good coffee (no full menu). So long as you know it's a rustic cabin, it's a much nicer experience than a hotel room. The only improvement would be some outside lighting as we arrived after dark and a curtain for the door to the bedroom.
