One of many great parks on the north shore. This park has many options for your stay. There is a nice campground, cart in, and hike to sites. Plus tons of hiking trails. Good river hiking and along the Lake. Big vsitor center that doubles as a rest stop as well.

Will do day trips just to come to this park (8 hour round trip)! The visitor center and the path nearby are both very well maintained. The path is paved and is wide enough to accommodate its popularity (no waiting for another group to come down in order to go up). Perfect views of the shore and always amazing regardless of the weather (sunny, misty, cloudy). Parking during the summer can be challenging but since it's a short and easy hike, people tend to trail hop pretty frequently so spots open up. Good picnic area.

Tettegouche State Park is one of the many worthwhile Minnesota state parks along the North Shore. It's easy to access and has a well done visitor center. Be sure to check out Baptism River and the many overlook opportunities along the river and on the lake side.

Really amazing park with a ton of hiking trails! The visitor center was very nice (with really helpful staff!) and the High Falls were incredible. I highly recommend visiting for the beautiful sights and I can't wait to return to explore more next summer!

I enjoyed going here. Several trails were closed due to the flooding and the ones that were open had the bottom stairwells washed away and we had to climb down (and then back up). On the longer trail, our group ran out of water and steam, and the mosquitoes didn't seem to care how much bug spray we used. The park itself is gorgeous and worth the stop. The 300 stairs on the shirt loop by the visitor's center are a good mix of up and down.
