Nice Campground. It's rather small with many sites under shade trees. The ground is all nice and soft grass. I had a site with full hookups for $25 Passport America rate. If you like a laid back country vibe this place is for you. The nearest store is a Dollar General Market at about 2.5 miles away. The guy that runs the place, Jack, is a pleasure to talk to. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and if I'm in the area I'll be back.

Great experience with wonderful people. We were the only ones there that did not play. We felt very welcomed. The music was fantastic and the history of the park is amazing.

If you are looking for Quiet and Relaxation this is the place for you. FHU at a great price. Great people run it. Check when there will be a music session with acoustic guitar and such. No electric, gas or chainsaw guitars allowef. Just good pickin. Be sure to bring groceries for your stay. Every road in the area has the name Thomas in it.
