The 11 Bridges Campground RV and Cozy Cabin Park
Overview
The 11 Bridges Campground RV and Cozy Cabin Park offers a unique retreat tucked away in the heart of the Canadian Badlands. Located in the quiet community of Rosedale, Alberta, this park is famously named for the series of bridges along Highway 10X that lead travelers into this striking river valley. It provides a peaceful, well-maintained base for exploring the Drumheller region, combining the rugged beauty of the local geography with convenient camping comforts.
Location & Surroundings
The park is situated along the banks of the Rosebud River, providing a lush, green contrast to the surrounding desert-like coulees and rock formations. Guests are treated to a sense of seclusion and tranquility while being only a short drive from major tourist hubs. The natural terrain offers a distinct sense of place, where the iconic Alberta landscape creates a dramatic and photo-worthy backdrop for morning coffee or evening walks.
Amenities & Park Features
Designed to accommodate various travel styles, the park features spacious RV sites with full hookup options including both 30 and 50 amp service. For those traveling without an RV, the cozy rental cabins provide a comfortable alternative with essential amenities for a rustic stay. On-site facilities include clean washrooms, hot showers, and laundry services to ensure a convenient experience. Families also enjoy the playground and the availability of firewood and ice for traditional campfires.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure is just minutes away, with the world-renowned Royal Tyrrell Museum located a short drive to the north. History buffs can explore the nearby Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site or walk across the Star Mine Suspension Bridge. For a truly unique experience, a trip further down the valley leads to the community of Wayne, where the historic Last Chance Saloon serves as a legendary reminder of the area’s rich coal mining heritage.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal choice for family road-trippers looking to immerse themselves in paleontological history and natural wonders. It caters well to travelers seeking a quieter, more intimate atmosphere compared to the busier campgrounds directly in Drumheller. Whether you are a nature photographer capturing the hoodoos at sunset or a couple on a weekend getaway, the park offers a relaxed environment to recharge after a day of exploration.

We went camping in August after a rainfall. Our campsite was literally a mud pit. There was absolutely no gravel or anything else that would make walking or setting up a tent on the ground possible. Unfortunately all other sites were taken so we couldn't switch. We had to walk in deep mud and cut our stay short because of it, especially since we went camping with little kids. Because of camping with kids, we chose this campground with a playground - there's no playground. There's an empty space with a swing and a broken climbing structure that should be either repaired or removed so kids don't get hurt. I gave two stars only because of the nice restrooms.

We stayed here this past weekend and it was AMAZING! Beautiful treed sites, impeccably clean washrooms, an owner that was incredibly helpful and accommodating with help checking in and firewood pickup. Falling asleep to the quiet of the night broken only by the rushing sounds of the river was so relaxing ❤️ I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! We can’t wait to return with our kids next time! Will most certainly be back!

Excellent campground. Friendly welcome. Well maintained. Clean. Quiet. Loved hearing the owls. We stayed in September after the long weekend and it was only at about 1/4 capacity. We had a full service spot. They allowed us to have a late checkout so we could go to the Last Chance Saloon on our last day before hitting the road, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

This campground is easy to access, is well maintained and run by a very kind and helpful owner! Beautiful sites, plenty of water access all around the campground. There is also a little playground where the magic of children playing and making memories happens surrounded by trees over 200 years old! Bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Also- my bad- I thought I reserved a spot with electricity but I did not. The owner Rachel went above and beyond to accommodate us despite me making a mistake. 100% recommend this place for anyone but especially for those with kids because this campground definitely had a safe family / community type vibe.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 11 Bridges Campground, and it was a delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a serene environment that set the tone for a perfect getaway. The campsite is well-maintained, with clean and spacious sites that provide ample privacy. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the sight of the morning mist over the river was truly magical. The new owner Rachel at 11 Bridges was exceptional. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with a smile. Her dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests was evident in every interaction. Our stay at 11 Bridges Campground was nothing short of perfect. It’s a place where you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, 11 Bridges has something for everyone. We can’t wait to return!
