The Camp

Overview

The Camp provides a unique, boutique lodging experience right in the heart of Bend, Oregon. This is not your traditional sprawling rural campground; instead, it offers a curated urban basecamp vibe that blends modern conveniences with a nostalgic nod to classic road trips. Originally a mid-century trailer park, it has been completely reimagined to cater to contemporary travelers who want to be steps away from the city's best offerings while maintaining a cozy, private atmosphere.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just east of downtown Bend, the park sits within walking or biking distance of many of the city's most popular districts. You are positioned perfectly to explore the local culinary scene and the legendary Bend Ale Trail without needing to unhook your rig for every outing. While the setting is decidedly urban, the property is thoughtfully landscaped with fences and greenery to provide a sense of community and security within the bustling Central Oregon environment.

Amenities & Park Features

Despite its compact footprint, the facility is packed with high-quality features designed for comfort. Guests enjoy full hookups with both 30 and 50-amp service, along with exceptionally fast Wi-Fi suitable for digital nomads. The common areas are the heart of the park, featuring a communal fire pit and a professional-grade grilling area designed for evening socializing. Other thoughtful touches include modern, renovated restrooms, on-site laundry facilities, and a dedicated dog wash station for cleaning up after a day on the trails.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is never far away when staying in Bend. From your site, it is a very short drive to the Deschutes River for paddleboarding or the Old Mill District for riverside dining. Outdoor enthusiasts often use the park as a starting point for day trips to Mount Bachelor for skiing or mountain biking at Phil’s Trail. For a scenic afternoon, the Cascade Lakes Highway begins nearby, offering access to some of the most stunning alpine scenery in the Pacific Northwest.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for active urban explorers and travelers who prioritize proximity to city life over secluded wilderness. It is perfect for those traveling in camper vans, smaller rigs, or vintage trailers who value a boutique aesthetic and well-maintained amenities. If you want to spend your days hiking the Cascades and your evenings enjoying Bend’s world-class breweries and dining, this is the premier choice for your Oregon road trip.

Stayed here for the month of October and got to watch all the leaves change in the park and the Sisters mountains fill with snow. This park is conveniently located, and feels like a tucked away haven downtown. We absolutely loved the fire pit, morning coffee, and the dog run in the back of the park. The laundry machines worked really well too! Would absolutely stay again.

Passing through bend and decided to stay in my motorhome here for the night. The prices per night are very good. Bathrooms are fairly clean, they are in an enclosed trailer made into bathrooms, showers and laundry room….brilliant!! Small patch of synthetic turf outside the rv spot. Clean facility and grounds, very well taken care of. Have hookups, wifi and the necessities. Great view and very conveniently located right off the main road. Theres a little road noise (my spot was the closest to the road and the entry) but not too bad. Happy to stay at this little gem!

Stayed with them for a fall/winter season. The people who run the place are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. It was my first time using my RV and the owners and other monthly residents were very helpful with tips and tricks to make my experience the best it could be when learning about my RV. There are bathrooms and laundry machines in the property and are always clean. They have cookouts once in a while and it’s a great opportunity to get to know everyone and have a good time. They have fire pits run on gas and what a great feeling it is to sit by the fire and look out at the mountains. It’s also very conveniently next to any store you’d need for your stay. Will always highly recommended this place!

We had such a great stay! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We brought our campervan for a concert at the amphitheater, rode our bikes around, and the next day walked just about a mile into downtown to check out the shops. The community space at the Camp was awesome—we grilled with friends, hung out by the fire pit, and loved the morning coffee. Bathrooms were clean, and while we didn’t end up using the laundry room, I peeked in and it was super clean and convenient. There’s even a little dog area, and lots of friendly people (and pups!) around. Would definitely stay again.

Really pleased with our stay at The Camp this weekend! We were in town for a concert and tried it out instead of a hotel. Very nice property with great amenities. Also, very quiet considering the location. We stayed in space 22 and it was plenty big enough for our camper and truck. We did not use the shower trailer, grill area, or overflow parking but they looked nice and well maintained. Will stay here again for sure!
