Visiting the Southern part of the park for a couple days. This was a nice, dog friendly rental that wasn't too far away. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins. The inside was cute and had everything you could need. The WIFI was a bit spotty for how few people were there, but it still got the job done.

This is a bare bones RV Park. It was a great location for visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. There isn't any personnel on site. However the was an water issue and we emailed the contact and they were responsive.

Great campground located just off the interstate and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Sites are large and easy to back into. There are no showers or bathrooms which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

We loved staying at the Wild Horse Cabin! The cabin was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family! The location is excellent, just a few minutes from Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Check-in and check-out was easy and the host was easy to reach. We would love to book again in the future and will definitely recommend to others!

Quiet place located 20 min from Theodore Roosevelt national Park. Full hookups, gravel spots, good Verizon and T Mobile service. No other facilities than RV space and a couple of cabins.

Rugged spots..meaning huge red, scoria rocks. Small lots but worked for what we needed.

As others have shared, this is not your resort style campground with tons of activities and things to do. It has full hookups that work great but no office, bathrooms or showers. The water is super cold and tastes good. There are tons of activities to do within an hours drive of the park. There is WIFI in the park that is easy to hook up to and is fast and reliable. Verizon cell phone coverage is great at 5 bars. The utilities are laid out a bit weird but work great. You can view the interstate from the property but we have not had any problems with noise. This is a GREAT NO FRILLS place to park that is near many attractions without breaking the bank. We would recommend to others and would stay here again in the future if going through.

You can see open spaces on the website and pick the one you want. I chose one that had open spots on each side so we weren't crowded. Someone did reserve on our hook-up side afterward though. There is not an office or immediate access to anyone on site. Make your reservations online and then come to the spot you selected (don't pay the extra $5 to lock in your site #). Full hook-up 50 amp. The price was decent and not far from the National Park South Unit. And it is near the road to take you to the North Unit (50ish miles), which makes it closer than Medora if you plan to do both parts of the park. There are some gas station/ convenience stores, a few restaurants, and a Dollar General in town. The campground is right on the west edge of town. I was happy with the campground.

Honestly we would stay here again!! Good location for places we were visiting. Sites are not level BUT not bad at all, very little shade. But the price was right and had full hook ups and the space was large enough for a 45 foot that is a WIN for us. Down fall is tried to contact owner they didn’t return our call until 2days later and the sites are not marked very well.

No frills, but a good place to stay overnight. It was safe and convenient. Nobody is on site, which is fine until something goes wrong. Our neighbor didn't have power and nobody was answering the phone. They shared our pole... No biggie... But you get the drift.
