Unpretentious, well maintained campground in the heart of ozark scenic riverways. They have everything you need for a relaxing getaway on the most beautiful river you can imagine . Full service tubes launched from and someone waiting to bring you back after a day of floating. Staff was great, facilities were clean and well kept. Love it every year! !!

So I'll start by saying that, despite the less than stellar accommodations, our group still had a great time on our weekend getaway. I called to book, after picking out the cabin that I wanted on the website. I asked some questions about the room configurations and based on our group, the girl I talked to suggested cabin 22. She explained the layout was different, but otherwise didn't mention any major differences. Well... there were some big ones. First, the cabin you see pictures of on the website has a lovely, full sized kitchen with a modern, full size stove, and large fridge. Newer style cabinets and a bar height table with 4 chairs. The kitchen we got, was hardly big enough for 1 person to stand in, had a tiny half sized stove that I'm guessing they picked up at a resale store and was probably made before I was born in the 80s đ . Now, mind you, this is a cabin they advertise for up to SIXTEEN people. Try cooking for 16 on that stove! It took us TWO HOURS to cook a pack of bacon. The fridge was also apartment sized, a few decades old and plagued with streaking rust. Again... the cabin is made for 16 people??? The table was a tiny little thing with 2 chairs. We ate in camping chairs on the porch. The pictures on the website shows newly updated bathrooms. Ours were anything but. Our shower had all sorts of fun, unidentifiable stains. The beds were the icing on the cake. Pretty much no one in my group slept all weekend because the mattresses were so old there was no stuffing left. Just springs. We joked that we should've just tent camped... the ground was probably softer. And definitely bring your own pillows, these went flat probably a decade ago. Oh and the bedrooms in the 2 bedroom unit (cabin 22 is a triplex) don't have windows and the guests in those rooms said it was VERY hot no matter what the AC was set to. The AC in both the end units was great though. A lot of reviews mention that it's dirty... honestly, was it white glove clean? No. But it didn't feel like a biohazard or anything. Just seemed like a cabin that's been used back to back all summer. There is a bit of a mildew smell but again, you've got people tracking in river water all summer sooo. OK so all that said, we didn't rent this cabin to go camping with the expectation that we would be staying at the Ritz Carlton. I was just disappointed because what is advertised is NOT even close to what was provided. For the good parts; the staff at the store is super sweet and helpful. The store is stocked with some basics at reasonable prices (for a camp store!). The float was lovely, and our shuttle was ready and waiting when we arrived at the end. There is a bar on the property and the prices are reasonable and the bartender was great. The property is beautiful and not too rowdy. There is plenty of beach frontage to hang out and swim at. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Everyone we met was super friendly. It seems like a lot of people come there fairly regularly. We caught several fish too, in both the lake and river. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay. I just kinda wish I had known what I was walking in to and that they would upgrade those beds!

We stayed at Stay Current River for a three-night family group trip, and it was absolutely amazing! Some of us camped at site 101, while others stayed in the cabinsâincluding Cabin 18B. The cabins were clean and stocked with the basic essentials, and the overall atmosphere was fun, relaxing, and family-friendly. Our campsite was clean, the hookups worked perfectly, and booking was super easy. Having gravel bar access within walking distance from our site was a huge bonusâwe used it daily! We also rented one of their rafts for a float trip, which went smoothly from start to finish. Everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Sam the Man, who drove us back after the floatâsuper nice guy! Another unexpected bonus was the coffee guy from DivineâŻPerks Coffee & Treats who showed up on Saturday morningâsuch a great treat before our float trip! I had the Aztec hot cocoa frozen and it was absolutely delicious. Weâll definitely be back next year. Highly recommend for camping, floating, and group getaways!

Overall, I do not recommend this site. The name gives the impression that it will be suitable for families. If your family is void of young children, maybe. Very loud partying much beyond the 10p noise abatement rule. Staff are presentable and kind. Staff are not skilled in directions around the grounds. Cabins are rough when compared to the cost. Heavy alcohol and marijuana use everywhere, beyond reason. Adults vomiting, passing out in common areas. Teens drinking and smoking. Some tent site are more than moderately sloped. No suitable place for tent. Water pools on electrical pole. No information spoken on floating. No hot (or even warm water) in the showers. Ice cold. Human waste all over the bathroom/shower house (photos for proof if needed). Shared sand bar area is GREAT! Water is clear and beautiful. If you book anyway, be warned and BUY THE WEATHER INSURANCE. If it rains, talk with them and make sure you get what they sold you! Good luck!

Went camping with my teenage son this last weekend. The tent site was rocky and sandy which made it very difficult to get the tent stakes to stay in the ground. I appreciated the shad and the access to the river. The bathrooms were the worst I have ever experienced in a camp ground. There were two toilets in each of the men's rooms and the full 5 days we were there had at least one of the toilets clogged with poop and just disgusting. Minigolf was a joke and looks nothing like the pictures. The pool was clean and was one of the best features. People struggle with quiet hours if you stay by the water so heads up on that! Will defiantly come back to Van Buren, but will probably find another camp ground. Very sad.

Camp host was great. Has full hookups on the upper area; electric and water available on the gravel bar under normal conditions (when not flooded). Beautiful area.

Nice little campsite. And friendly and helpful staff. We needed them in the middle of the night. And they took care of our issue.

This is a wonderful family set atmosphere the pricing is moderate and space for campers, RVs, and tents. There as well is cabin rentals at this facility tube and raft rentals and a private pond that can be fished at by customers. It is dog friendly with picnic area and restrooms. If you have pets they are allowed to travel freely as long as they are not aggressive and there is also security for the premises. There is also a boat ramp with water access to Current River. It is for only customer and private use.

We originally booked Friday through following SaturdayâŚ. Needless to say we are leaving early!! Bathrooms are disgusting! Party central on the weekends! NO staff or accommodating during week! We wanted to float during week with less people on the river⌠they told us to go into town and find someone else to do it! They offer pump out services⌠NOPE no staff they made a seasonal guy do it!! Our water was shut off mid week with No warning⌠NO staff to help had to hunt someone down!! They offered us a credited for the 2 days we left early đ¤Śđźââď¸

We love this place. It's our favorite vacation of the year. We stayed on the river for many years and this year we stayed in a cabin. Still the best vacation and the cabins are great. We already can't wait till July of 2022. We don't ever want to leave and always look forward to coming back. đâđŻ

It was our first stay and we definitely enjoyed it and will be back again! Check in was easy and we had no issues with the campground while setting up the RV. We were a few steps from the beautiful Current River gravel bar as well as the campground store. The store conveniently stayed open until 10pm each night which was a major plus to grab more ice or forgotten items. I canât speak to the pool or bathrooms as we didnât use them, but the location was wonderful as were the staff :) The campground was full and people were having fun but it still felt very family friendly. No trouble with loud people or music after hours. Thanks for the great weekend!

My aunt said she bought into Deer Run, so her family has a guaranteed spot. Apparently this company used to be bad back in the day, but theyâve taken on accountability and upped security and standards. I didnât interact with any staff myself, but the environment was great!! The water was so clear and clean! The beach we set up camp at was clean, and people cleaned up after themselves. It was a nice place to spend an afternoon with the fam during a summer day.
