Stopped to eat while on a bus tour. Staff was lovely, food was BETTER! The fish and chips was beautifully prepared, and served hot. Side salad (garden) could have been a meal in itself, full of fresh veggies, including cucumber, sweet peppers, tomato and lettuce. Two of us split it, with some left over. Best but was they had strawberry-rhubarb pie for dessert. I will definitely return - possibly tomorrow, when my family is doing a trip around the Cabot Trail.

Stopped in for 1 night to start cabot trail. Nice campsite, roomy spots, good food in restaurant, we did mini golf and watched the Go Karts being driven. Icecream after on one of the breathe taking spots all over the campsite. Washrooms and showers dated but clean !. Can recommend when start / stop cabot trail ( clockwise ) at Lake-O Law.

When we walked in, we were asked, "Can we help you?" It felt like we had walked into somebody's house by mistake. Our first waitress wouldn't smile to save her life. The second waitress was more pleasant. The food however,was great. Won't be back though. Not a welcoming place in my opinion.

Not only do they have amazing staff, but the owners granddaughter is a sweetheart. She seen I was upset and tried giving me some of her own money to cheer me up. I told her I wanted her to keep it and go get herself something and that would make me happy. She then came back with a flower. This little girl put a smile on my face and made my birthday better. How could I cry when such a sweet kind little lady was doing everything to make me smile. We then all got on the go carts and my day got better. Thank you to everyone there for your kindness. I love going there but this, made me love it more. To see this kind gesture from such an innocent child. I hope to see her again when I return.

Had a great bkft this morning. The service was great and we might of waited 10 mins for our food to come out. My eggs where done perfectly. The food was hot and delicious. I love going here after camping all weekend and then having a nice hot meal in the morning. We have been doing this for over 20 years. The view at this campground is one of the prettiest. The swimming is the best. We took our own camper this year but have stayed in the cottages many times. My kids love to tent here. All in all we love this place and will always keep coming. See you next year.

Excellent food, welcoming, delightfully pleasant staff and a casual, comfortable surrounding. Just what was needed after a beautiful day on the Cabot Trail which was in its full fall colour glory.

Food was great but not covid safe .... waitress had no mask while serving us and didn't wear one the whole time she walked around and served us. Makes me wonder if she even believed in washing her hands I can only hope she does.

BEWARE!!!!!!! What a joke of a business, tried to go and rent a peddle boat, only after I pay am I informed that I have to get the boat in and out of the water myself. Had I known before hand I would not have made this rental. When I went back 10 mins later for a refund because I couldn't partake in the service I paid for I was told that no refunds were given. Something else that was not told to me at time of purchase. On tol of that they only had one peddle boat in working order. I honestly would love to give 0 stars. On top of all the the "owner" was inside waiting on customers without a mask even tho the province still requires it

Fantastic lake and recreational activities. Family had fun on the go carts and renting a paddle boat. Could use more washrooms/showers.

Very nice spot. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is awesome. But the only reason I am not giving a 5 is the washrooms are a little dirty and need some upgrades.
